    It would seem that his West Ham day's are over, Charlton is 29 and is looking for 40 grand a week
    I think that he is a handful and would be great for us in the championship

    The Hammers are early in the transfer market - accepting Liverpool's 15 million price tag for Andy Carroll (on loan 7 goals), and perhaps looking to pair him up with Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea (on loan at WBA - 17 goals) - hell, they already signed up a free Romanian Rat.

    As an original idea how about going for a striker that's got a decent scoring record, doesn't spend the whole time on the treatment table, isn't always getting sent off/suspended & isn't a greedy money grabbing c***.

    We'd be paying most of it.

    Brighton don't have a manager so can't see any truth in that. Palace don't even know which division they'll be in yet.

    When I was a nipper the old boys where I was living at the time spoke about Bobby and Jackie 'Charleston'. Even now I sometimes feel the inclination to say it like that.
