Watford are in trouble. If they go up they won't have a team to speak of, unless Udinese "sell" them some players for free, though that seems unlikely as they need to fatten their squad for Euro football next season. Promotion will mean having to pay stupid wages to entice players to sign for them, and with relegation a certainty anyway, can't see them risking it. Lose to Palace and that's it for them, they will be fighting relegation next season.
I was looking at the attendances for last season, remember they all told us the only reason they'd only have 16000 against us was it was ground capacity.... I see they barely managed 13,000 average for the season, so even with a pisspot little toytown ground they still could not fill it. As someone else said, if the Prem think they have got rid of a tiny club with Wigan going, just wait and see Watford if they go up.
