That's a good idea Frenchie. In fact it is quite helpful as I've noticed with Hornette and the Moonwalk there are some helpful and knowledgeable people out there - always good to have suggestions. I've been able to look at it more closely this morning as the swelling is slightly less and it does not seem to be a dep cut but it appears that my finger "burst" open from the pressure - so it now looks like meat where there used to be skin - the ever sympathetic Mrs L has compared it to a split grape :(

When Mr H cut the end of his finger off, i compared it to a pork sausage. (especially when i squished it by mistake! ;) )

Sounds to me like you should go and get it checked sooner rather than later though, if it's very deep...

No - the good thing is it is not deep at all - seems less of a cut than a tear - looks clean and I used soem antiseptic disinfectant in the water to wash it whilst I gritted my teeth this morning :)

By the sounds of things, it may turn into a blog version of 'Embarrassing Bodies'!

We'd have to categorise it - male/female/young/old at least!

Welcome geezer to the new home.

Some have found it different, it clearly is, but stick with it, it all becomes clear very quickly. Any questions on how do I do this or that will be answered by the fans who by now are quite expert. Still learning myself.

If you don't like points and all that jazz, ignore them. They don't mean a lot. ;)

Cheers frenchy! good to see all the same people are here with the same names :)

Is there any way that you can change your settings so when you go into an article you see the last 10 posts with the newest post at the bottom and the article still showing like the old 606?

There is the "View First Unread" link at the top that acts in a similar way.

Welcome to not606 Geezer. If you dont like the gizmos you can just ignore them as they dont do anything but there are some good things her - like no 3 minute rule, we mod our own site so no BBC freak will censor you, adding links videos pictures etc is easy (apparently) if you are not a technophobe like me :) - and lasstbut not least the company is very good :)

Oh - and if before you post you click "go advanced" and scroll down you get the shortened version of the chat
