    The beautiful British isles.

That's like saying Geordie is distinctly English.

Most foreigners haven't a clue where Geordies come from when they speak.

Most yanks that I have met first thought I was English rather than Irish.

After a quick headlock they were soon reminded I was Northern Irish & British.

I'm talking about the accent in general, not a hint of southern Irish in it.

That doesn't really make any sense,it's like saying the Cork accent doesn't have a hint of Ulster in it.Whether you like it or not you have a Ulster twang and like all accents they evolve ie yours evolved through generations of Irish,English and Scottish (languages and races)

Until we hear Medro`s accent we are not in a position to judge.

Is it possible to upload a snippet on GC Med Dog?
Say "Get in the power shower now, not later now".
    The Ulster accent sounds funny

I'm sure in Medro's tiny mind he assumes he sounds like Lawrence Olivier or Oliver Reed.

Are you suggesting they are easily mistaken for Irish?

So you have never been asked if you are Irish by a foreigner?

    Simple yes or no?

I'm British because I was born in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

I thought you would have caught on by now.

I imagine him to sound like the Cambridge educated Stephen Fry, who`s father is Hungarian by the way.

So two separate entities then. One constituent part being Great Britain. You were not born in Britain, you were not bred in Britain. You do not live in Britain nor do you work in Britain.

Can you confirm the accuracy of that statement. Yes or no?
