What were the best moments of the 2012-2013 season? I can think of a few. 1. Beating Spurs 5-2 again 2. Cazorla hatrick against Reading (and his overall impact for us). 3. Walcott's goal against Newcastle. 4. The 7-5 against Reading. 5. Koscielny's goal, and the dawn of another St. Totteringham's day!
=1. Beating Bayern Munich (the best team in the world) in their own stadium. =1. The Reading COC game. That was a once in a lifetime match, and i'm glad to have witnessed it 2. 5-2 again. 3. Theo's 3rd against Newcastle 4. Koscielny's performances once Verm was dropped 5. Arsene finally grew a pair, and boy, did it work.
1.Today. 2.Beating Bayern at the Allianz. 3.Our 2-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield. (our most complete performance of the season) 4.Walcott against Newcastle at home. 5.Wilshere's performances against Swansea and Liverpool at the Emirates.
Arsene finally grew a pair, and boy, did it work.[/QUOTE] Oh, i thought you meant the other pair... I absolutely concur with this though.. Our defence has been slaughtered by pundits in the past and am so glad these two has gelled and proved so many doubters wrong. I remebered the comments about mertesacker called the lumberjack of the EPL and Kos called a championship defender...Well, look at them now eh.. A solid defence is a solid base for winning trophies, so am glad we got it right this time. Definitely my number one highlight.. Second- Lightning struck twice; Beating the Cockerels 5-2 again. Thirdly- Walcotts hattrick against Newcastle in December.. We beat them 7-3. Fourth - Our unbeaten run from March to May to claim 4th.. It all started from beating bayern. Fifth - 7-5 game against reading. Even chamakh scored in that game, and walcott scored a hattrick again, his last in the 120th minute.
1. Seeing Arsenal play (live, tv or stream) regardless of whether they won, drew or lost 2. Seeing all those dumbass spuds celebrating prematurely during the last game 3. Seeing Fergie retire 4. Seeing Chelski embarrass themselves in Europe after having fluked the CL 5. Seeing Citeh fail to buy any trophies 6. Plucking chicken feathers & picking pansies to present as gifts to the girly supporters
Santi Carzorlas performances for me. Most under rated player in the league. Also beating Spurs 5-2, the performance against Bayern and the final day of the season.
1. Our defence, the Kos / Mert partnership 2. Mert scoring against the Spuds to set up another 5-2 3. Seeing our team finally looking settled 4. Not losing any key players this summer 5. Bacon face finally ****ing off 6. HIAG's threads that came back to bite him on the arse 7. Spuds celebrating the Newcastle ghost goal 8. Beating Bayern on their own turf 9. Santi Cazorla
I have to be honest here. I haven't been on many highs this year. It really has been a bad year. I took pleasure in many of the things the other people wrote, but this season has been a slog. We need to be 100% better next year. Probably the very first year since Wenger, that we had no chance of winning anything so early.
Thanks for the reminder on some of these. I put together everyone's suggestions in a season review I made: Arsenal Season Review 2012-13 in Pictures and Videos. An interesting fact is we only conceded 5 goals in our last 11 games, winning 9 and drawing 2.

A risky but successful mission this term. I think there is no time for Kieron Gibbs, Now it's time for Nacho Monreal. Nacho also called up in the Spanish Side for the upcoming Confederations Cup !
