you have 2 players in his position, doubt you will go for him so what .. Walcott picked Arsenal over liverpool despite he is a liverpool fan .. that is business and players prefer places were there is stability and success
@Luke_shaw3 what away ground are you most looking forward to playing at?”Stamford bridge @Luke_shaw3 are you a Chelsea fan? #ChampionOfEurope”yes I am @Luke_shaw3 Stevy G, Lamps or Scholes ?”lampard
@Luke_shaw3 best team in England? #Man Utd @Luke_shaw3 Who do you think will win the title next year #Man Utd again, with David running the show @Luke_shaw3 when did you start to support Chelsea? #like most Chelsea fans, when roman abramovich purchased the club
So? It's common knowledge that most of the scouse Liverpool players are Everton fans, it doesn't make a blind bit of difference. When I take a new job I don't find out who the MD supports before taking it. It will be his job.
Every time ive seen Buttner he has played well, he only gets the odd game so he can't set the world alight but I think given a run he will do well.
Rafael and Fabio will proably be our 1st choice FBs, Evra had a great 1st half of the season but tiredness came in (see Walcotts goal) and Buttner is decent back up but don't think he will be 1st choice. Rather have Baines then Shaw at our club
Can't see Fabio coming back myself, or if he does, making it. He's in the not good enough category. We should have gone for Baines last year but I can see the reasoning behind having the younger Buttner instead at the time with Evra still there. Baines is quality however and if the opportunity is still there we should get him. Definitely. Buttner still got time on his side.
Fabio would need to go out on loan again for me, had a poor season at QPR, but then again didn't they all. Baines would be class but im not sure if he will leave Everton as well as Fellaini (who looks like he may head to Old Trafford), suppose it depends on the new manager at Everton. What I've seen of Shaw he seems a good prospect but that's all, if a deal was to be done it would be like Smalling and Zaha, loaned straight back.
When Fabio and Rafael first came wasn't Fabio rated as the better one? Tbh I'd like to see him get a run of games in the Utd team this year to judge whether he is good enough or not. Hopefully he can match Rafaels progression as he won't be playing in the sinking ship that is QPR.
I sort of agree but im not sure if you could give him a run, would you really put him in ahead of Evra, Buttner just for his progression. Not sure I would, give him all the Fa Cup matches, Carling cups but not the league. And yeh I remember him getting great reviews early on but think he got an injury and never forced his way back in.
Yes, and wasn't Phil Neville always meant to be a better prospect than Gary? I fail to see how you can just give him a run? On what basis, hoping for the best and keeping all fingers and toes crossed? Will have to prove himself to be up to it, which he hasn't even come close to so far.
