Yes we were beaten tonight and yes we deserved to lose! ManUtd are a side who have easily delt with top sides such as Chelsea, but Barcelona realy are in a different league all together! I'm a big United supporter but I must admit Barcelona are the best side I've ever seen, they just don't give there opponents the ball! Man Utd are an amazing side, and they were just played off the park, by this outstanding Barca side, so hats occ to Barca your an amazing side, and no team in Europe comes close! I'd also like to add how proud I an of my side, Manchester United, we may not have win and we may have been outplayed but I love my side, and we put up a brave fight, and I'm sure Fergie will gave plenty if tricks up his sleave for next season if we face Barca! Hats off to Barca, but were still the best side in England by a long way, and were easily tge second best side in the world, and obnly an idiot would dispute that! " I came on here to offer support this morning, only to find this **** already posted. Shergar, we actually beat Barcelona this year in one game and lost 3 -1 at the Nou Camp with 10 men. I would say that pretty much shoots you full of holes you ****ing numpty. To you proper United fans, welcome to the 'we met Barca and it wasn't a pleasant experience' club.
To be fair, the Barca performance last night was a million miles from the performance they gave at the Emirates. They seemed to ease off against you guys once they got the vital away goal, whereas they never eased up last night. They were still pressing in the last ten minutes when the game was won, whilst they eased up in the second half against your lot. Arsenal would have been no better able to deal with them last night that we were imo. Lol, been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Twice

I agree that there is no shame in you guys losing to probably the best team we are likely to see play in our lifetimes. However, you surely could of given the watching world a better account of English football. ****ing embarrassing.

I doubt the world expected any better of English football after the World Cup to be honest. We just lived up to expectations...
Well, the world saw last season' Italian champions get taken apart by Schalke; this season's champions get done by Spurs; the German and French champions fail to get past the second round; and the second best team in Spain get dominated by Barca just as badly as we were (72% Barca possession in the Bernabeu). So I don't think many neutral observers will see this as a failure of English football, more just confirmation of the absolute supremacy of Barca.
Man Utd should be embarrassed, so far behind Barca - it's no excuse yes they're great but then your very average. Need to spend big and get some quality of your own which you really lacked last night and was shown by a great team
We're no further behind Barca than everyone else in the world. Like I said in another post, what current players can live with Barca on their current form? Very true. we were still chasing and trying and never gave up, but most of our team didn't play to their full potential. Although to be fair I think almost every single one of Barca's players did play to their best. Best side in the world on top form >>> best English side not playing at its best. Simples.
