NO! Please no Kevin Davies... He's way past it. If he couldn't cut it at Championship level, he's definitely not going to have it at Premier League level.

Bit of a cheap backup but Sunderland are releasing Ryan Noble. Not had a good year last year but his scoring record in reserves was unbelievable. Not to be compared with Cullen cos this lad was getting hattricks against Newcastle and Man Utd. Bruce gave him a chance in Sunderlands first team too. Worth a twelve month deal to see how he develops???

i just think Baptiste has all Hobbs attributes but is quicker and has premier league experience, albeit limited. Carlton Cole is a name that really interests me.

Not that i want him but i would take Akinfenwa over Kevin Davies any day. Davies couldnt cut it at champioinship level last season, and i would rather look at Le Fondre as a 'super sub'
In the Premier League, his goal scoring record is worse than that, it's worse than 1 in 5(his biggest goal scoring season was in the Championship).
Why should it be ? Much quality in that part of the world. plus the added bonus of an instant fan base in that part of the world. No No No. No question about his talent but he is trouble.
