Not normally I grant you but don't kid yourself on that against England it's all one way traffic. Even the irish independent pointed out that Ireland fans were no angels in 1995 when it came to the pre kick off slanging match.
No, Northern ireland is not in Britain. It is however in the United Kingdom, residents of which are classified as British. I thought I made it pretty clear when I said I was born and bred in Northern Ireland, the same country you live in. Some say they were worse than the English.
They weren't - not by any stretch of the imagination and they were blameless in the riot itself. However the idea that the Irish support was made up of 40,000 choirboys singing Mary o Hara and Clancy brothers songs whilst Engalnd fans sung Nazi panzer division standards is fanciful beyond belief. It's also easy to forget that when the seats and stuff came raining down from the top tier the people who were getting hit were predominantly England travel club members who were directly below. Very few irish fans were among the injured in the stadium that night.
And people question why I consider myself to be non nationalistic. It's not often I will give myself a pat on the back but on this issue I know I am right. Intolerance and xenophobia at it's abhorrent worst.
So those in South or North Sudan are no longer Sudanese due to border changes? I reckon that Sudan is the operative part there. Same rules apply for the spastic Irish
