    Pulis' PL record at Stoke:
Have to say it's pretty bloody consistent.:)
Obviously the club thinks they're never going to get any higher with him. Trouble is, change can send you down as easily as up.
    He'd do well at Everton<whistle>

Thank god. I was getting sick of his hypocritical comments regarding Liverpool every time we played them

Shame really, he'd have stumped up £20m for Carroll

  5. It is consistent but they are not improving either. As you said, the club obviously feel a change is needed to progress but that could easily backfire, aka Wolves and Mick McCarthy <ok>

Pulis isn't really them an to take them higher imo, but the question is whether a new manager will find a way to make progress with that team by playing a new style. I think it could backfire very easily.

Pulis is a slightly worse version of Moyes. Consistent around a few positions in the league, never going to progress, never going to degress (is that even a word?).

  7. I found a stat mentioned on Talksport quite surprising; apparently they are third or fourth (anyone wants to state which, feel free) in the charts for most money spent (gross). If they spend that much (and its certainly a project), maybe Rafa will be tempted?

Too many old players on high wages, no club will buy them so Rafa would be stuck with a lot of average/**** players.

If Pulis goes to Everton then that would be brilliant.

Fantastic for football and Stoke that he's leaving.

He is without a doubt one of the biggest whingers in the football world, yet fails to recognise the dirty tactics his teams employ.

He's done well for them overall i'll give him that, but I will not miss him - unless he goes to Everton <laugh>

Rafa is one of the 2 fav's to get the job. Money? our Chairman's daughter owns Bet365 I guess it would be enough to tempt Rafa... do you rate Rafa or not guys? IF it happens I would be over the moon.

    Rafa is the don.

I'd be surprised if he went if i'm honest.

He likes things laid out for him and a very good chance of winning trophies.

Love this news. I have no respect for the man, awful manager.

Maybe Stoke can push on now and actually improve and play decent football, instead of playing up to old English stereotypes of physical football.

You're being ridiculous. Man City is beneath him ... Real Madrid, surely? <ok>

  20. Oh, now I get it and that makes more sense than what I thought; I thought Bow had come up with it his self...
