I don't like Pulis' style but I wouldn't want to risk my club with his spending.

Bruce has bought promotion and I (as a Leicester fan) know how risky that can be. We've taken that risk before and we failed. I wouldn't like to try it again.

I couldn't tell, considering you've a Hull City avatar and you spend half your life on a Hull City forum.

Square Head can't even buy promotion and probably couldn't if he had £200 Million to spend :D

See this is why the whole 'big club' thing makes no sense. You talk about them being similar sized to us, presumably going down the usual history route, yet say that makes it an achievement that they've stayed in the PL, got to a cup final, etc. But that isn't affected by history, it's affected by the vast amount of money they've got (which we haven't) which is one reason why we are unlikely to be in a cup final any time soon. That money makes them a much bigger club than us and it's to be expected that they have stayed up so long.

We both got promoted together and both made some truly ****e signings. They had enough money to correct it by buying more and more players on a trial and error basis every 6 months, we corrected it by signing Kilbane and Zaki. That's the difference.

Isn't that totally irrelevant? We're discussing Stoke. This post right here is where the thread turned t **** because you for some reason turned it into a AKCJ v Hull City slagging match.

It obviously was the single biggest reason he left, but no one really gives a **** now (or they shouldn't do anyway).

    Bruce has bought promotion!!!

    LOL!!

You know what, you just a snivelling, bitter, envious twat !!

Reckoning you were the first to congratulate us, what load of bollox.

You've been biggin up Lesster ****ing City ever since your MASSIVE club was bought by some flaky foreigners from some ****ing third world country who have absolutely no connection for Lesster other what they can get out of it financially. For three seasons now you've outspent everyone in the Championship and you ****ed it up.

We haven't and you are bright green with envy.

    So long loser.

You really think that fishing thing is clever don't you? Every post you make loses you more and more credibility, and you didn't have much to start off with.

the point of going is to support your team by making a noise and creating an atmosphere..
I was called a **** for thinking that I go to games expecting to be entertained.
my argument was that it's Brucies job to rally the troops, that is what he gets paid for.

I'm amazed at anyone taking AKCJ seriously - I mean look at that fake picture on the bottom of all his posts! (He's obviously just learned about photo shop as we all know Square Head never smiles!) :D

I very much doubt people will want City to play like Wigan.

Wigan's problem last season was they couldn't defend for toffee, and after a couple of inept performances from the defence, and probably being stuffed on both occassions, you'd want strengthening and for the defence to get their act together.

I CANNOT believe that Stoke are seriously considering Mark Hughes for manager, it astounds me that someone with as horrendous a track record as Hughes continues to be linked with top jobs. If they get Hughes that's one of the 3 relegation places taken next year so good news for us, also the style of football employed by Hughes is not the most attractive to watch either! what on earth are they playing at

Coates isn't going to be saving his money any time soon then.
