Decent article from McNulty. Agree with him on AVB entirely but I still think AVB's arrogance was his undoing this season. Had he kept his trap shut and not come up with that "negative spiral" bollix I believe Spurs would have finished in the top 4, from that moment onwards, Arsenal seemed to regroup and it clearly galvanised them. That said, Levy is their root problem.

HIAG I'm guessing Just don't get it with some of the employees at that club. Same thing happened when we played them at the Bridge and we were the better team by far for just over an hour. Spurs have enjoyed better results against Chelsea and Arsenal (as well as other big clubs) when there was been less expectation or pre-ambling about power shifts, style of football, Ex-Chelsea players etc. Feel sorry for them because there are a lot of decent Spurs fans on here that cop all the flak because of HIAG's WUM attempts and BS
There are some decent posters on there, but too many of them have got caught up waving the pom poms for the village idiot simply because he's one of them. To be honest, the amount of crap he has come out with over the last two seasons that has come back to slap him in the face should have been enough to embarrass him into silence and for the decent spurs posters to kick him into touch. I think it was because I rinsed him on his threads, and as a Gooner, they felt compelled to support him, when in fact all the evidence said that he was still spouting bollocks - oh well, maybe they are beyond help
part of me doesnt blame the Spurs fans for a lot of there delusions the media constantly big them up Bale has been thrust into the same category as Messi and Ronaldo by the media because he scored a few 25 yarders in the last few minutes on a number of occasions and to add even more bullshit the media still say that up until january last season Spur were title contenders when anybody with half a brain knew they weren't.
Add to that a stream of managers and players getting sucked into the 'small man syndrome' of trying and failing to bully Arsenal. Redknapp with his 'We have a better team than Arsenal' and 'We can win the league' Micheal Dawson bleating crap about Spurs being better than Arsenal, to AVB spouting crap about our 'Negative Spiral' These clowns basically write out team talks for us
if you wanna laugh go to Youtube and type in lifes a pitch go to there channel and watch some of there vids over the season they constantly wrote Arsenal and half way through the season Chelsea off even when Spur form dropped in Feb March time they were doing there best to tell themselves Spurs werent bottling it again.
How so DL? Doesn't he do a good job considering where Spurs were when he took charge. We've only got half the income of Chelsea and two thirds that of Arsenal. When Chelsea were in a similar position many years back you ended up a whole division down, not just a few points
