It's funny, I had to google that term. Interesting that it is apparently used mostly in the US and UK but I've never heard it. Shows that racism from non whites doesn't exist anywhere near as much. The majority of racists are white, that's the point I was making.
That's a very naive comment. Your comment suggests you've never spent any length of time outside of Britain.
Oh no. Someone's played the race card... Pru, it's kicking off!!!
This is true, but I spent most of my life in an area with black people as the majority and never once suffered a racial insult, never mind attack. Anyway, this wasn't meant to be a topic on racism, I just responded to a certain comment with an example.
Think that pretty much kills the argument! Interesting that even in this country (U.K) the majority of "racially aggravated" crimes don't involve a "white" person, but rather tend to be between Asian/Afro Caribbean groups.
You've got to ask yourself why young people have this idea that we are a racist country when you see that map the stats behind it. Note also the other countries that among the most tolerant. What do they all have in common?
Bizarre. Indians and Bangladeshis are the most racially intolerant people on the planet (along with Jordanians and Hong Kong(ers? ites? ians?)) yet Pakistanis are the least racist in all of Asia? I find that hard to believe...Interesting though.
I don't believe the OP. In fact I don't believe this whole thing in general. Gay people have every right to get married. I don't believe in the Bible, but I'm not going to shoot myself if it all turns out to be true (it won't, what a safety mechanism that is). And whoever it was who said mostly white people are racist has clearly never tried getting a taxi down in Cape Town. I nearly got murdered. It was only my friend who lived there who saved me from having my limbs rearranged.
