Its being changed when the fixtures come out and your officially unveiled as a premier league member which you are not just yet. Also you could go into administration at any moment so I thought it wise to hold on till the last moment.
Is that right NJ? Were you or PVRD there? I have been to all our home games and some away. Yes, there were protests which lessened in volume and numbers as the season progressed but no in fighting at any games I attended. The red/blue thing won't go away completely as recently seen in the Supporters' Trust Survey but when someone puts £100m of his money into a club with further ongoing support that becomes a pretty strong argument to thin out the protests.
I'll tar them with what ever Brush I like mate, free world. Blue from Bridgend is ok in fairness but they all love a WUM so don't kid yourself some are better than others, why bother on the Jacks board in the first place? they are still championship until they are officially welcomed into the prem league.
I think we've had this conversation before haven't we? I knew boys who were at Posh, I know a few Chelsea lads who I worked with who gave me the opposition view, that was that your lot were giving it the big one being safe in numbers and had a bit of a shock Don't for one minute think any of that **** is ok, its absolutely not,a cowards game in fact but don't deny that nothing happened up in posh because it did, one lad was set on fire for ****s sake !! bunch of Animals
Norway, I bow to your greater third hand knowledge about Peterboro as I was not there. However, I was at Chelsea so have a first hand version of that. Anyway, all history. It just seems rather unfair for us to be punished for, in the main, events that occured a number of years ago other than one blemish in 2012/13 which, on the face of it, did not involve the opposing fans. Can you put your hand on your heart and say Swans fans were 100% squeeky clean on their travels last season? A simple question, not a WUM. I'm not on here for that. As for your comment "but they all love a WUM so don't kid yourself some are better than others", have you not done the same yourself on our board? Maybe not much recently but certainly when both sides were together in the Championship. Ah well, home time. Enough for today.
Intresting that you mention being punished for things that happened years ago, maybe you should be telling that to your MOD taff the fishstick, he seems to think a lot differently and loves to remind us f the past also, something he did long before I entered this thread! .. Er no not really, I think ive been over on your board 3 or 4 times in the last 3 yrs I believe, though I would expect to be put in my place if I was spouting total bollocks over there (im not saying you are,you seem like a very decent fellow),thts the nature of the beast im afraid Anyway Blue, check the arrest stats if you want the answer to that question
It's no problem here, the problem exists only with Cardiff and Millwall. It's not up to us to sort out, you need to do that yourselves. Why would we be expected to stop your fans fighting each other in stadiums?
I think you need reminding of the fact that the bluebirds are dead and your new Badge has been stolen from Wrexham...oh, and your fans have been setting fire to each other up at Posh a few weeks back It gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Fire and Passion " doesn't it ? ... It should read "Fire and Passion.........away at Peterborough "
Dear me, I was so looking forward to grown up comments but no, Norway Jack at his childish best. Feel sorry for your sensible posters who have to put up with your constant drivel. Well I think I have seen all I need here, I will watch the programme and look forward to an adult discussion with Swans who can debate properly without resorting to childish remarks and petty name calling.
BFB, I went to every away game except Sunderland. I didn't see or hear of any trouble at any games. That sort of thing really isn't tolerated in the prem. Eg, the west ham fans were full of banter in the ground but bugger all outside because of the serious consequences that would rain down from the PL. The biggest concern I saw was the heavy handed approach of stewards at Spurs, Fulham and Norwich. They were determined to get people to sit down and in my opinion I thought they were racist in their comments about the Welsh. Fulham being the worst and in Fulham they have a neutral section too right by the away fans. My concern is that some of your lunatics will take exception
I've got to laugh at Norway's version of the so called Peterborough fighting. You've been watching to many hooly films m8. Nothing, other than a few raised voices and smoke bombs happened at Peterborough. If you tell a lie enough times it becomes folklore.
Gents, thread going off at a tangent now. The OP started this thread to discuss the up and coming TV documentary tonight. Now it's turning out to be a them V us and way off what the OP wanted from this thread.
Absolutely agree neveroff! If Norway had only kept on track eh! What time is it on anyway? Might just have a gander. See what's true.
10.30. ITIWRAN, It will be interesting viewing for us Jacks. I'd like to see what they have to say on the Petty days and they way he ****ed the club up. Still let's all see whats said then it will be a good debate on the repercussions etc.
Point taken Dilli. Well done to Swans fans for a trouble free season. That's a surprise about Fulham. Never been there but the impression given by the media is that it is one of the more friendly grounds where away fans are welcomed. I guess we will find out, good or bad, in the season ahead. Mind you, on MoTD you regularly hear the stadium announcer telling away fans at Everton to sit down. Norway - as far as arrest stats are concerned the only ones I can find are for 2011-12 where we had 25 and the Swans had 30. In each case nearly 50% of offences were alcohol related. The worst clubs were Man U, Man City, Newcastle, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea. Swans were at the lower end of the scale and Fulham were the best behaved with only 6 arrests. We were 9th of 24 in the Championship, not the best but not the worst either by a long way.
