You lot need to stop worrying about FFP, and how it will effect us. What, we're going to have a fire sale because all of a sudden, we won't meet the requirements? It's a good idea, but it's all BS really. Clubs already have to show they can break even in the medium term to be able to compete in Europe. Man City clearly weren't going to make that requirement, so they just went and sponsored their own stadium for £400m
Not getting into the big club argument as that is just a personal opinion as to what is the definition - history, support, etc etc. At the end of the day players will be attracted to clubs in the Premier League over clubs who are so called "big" who are lower down the leagues, I'm thinking here of Forest and Leeds who both have done well in Europe in the past. Also why a player is attracted to sign for one club rather than another can be very complicated - whether player and manager share same agent, the wages, whether a player likes the area, who the manager is (some players seem to want to play for Billy Davies or Neil warnock - for some reason), maybe even how the player percieves the fans of the club could come into his decision making process. Being honest if I was a player being chased by us, Wigan and Swansea - I would choose Swansea first (provided the manager stayed), as they have European football and a more settled premiership side, then Us due to Bruce and the fact they are playing Premier League and Wigan last due to although they are in Europe, the manager could well leave, their chairman is a grade A moron (sorry for not using Conservative Party standard insults).
Totally agree. If google can dodge the UK tax system, I am sure that football clubs can dodge the funding rules.
Assam to leverage his entire enterprise to secure a sponsorship deal worth 100 million, then uses the money to pay his son 20 Million a year to be a silent chairman. As you say, many ways around it.
I wouldn't be surprised that if the big teams can't work their way around the FFP it will result in them leaving their respective leagues and creating a new league. Obviously not soon, but in the long term, for sure.
They are, there's some sort of panel reviewing the sponsorship deals and if they are deemed to be circumventing the rules, then they'll be banned from European competitions. Manchester City are the first club that are going to have their sponsorship deals investigated, as four of the club's eight main sponsors - Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Etisalat and Aabar, are owned by the United Arab Emirates government and Sheikh Mansour is one of the Deputy Prime Ministers.
But legally you cant stop it Sponsorship is sponsorship regardless of who is sponsoring them King Power sponsor both our stadium and shirt. They can put in X amount of pounds so get passed FFP when really they havent put a penny in The football league etc. cant legally penalise us for it
Ive got £100 quid with Corals at 20/1 that Hull City stay up next season already. Happy days chaps. Without any problems. You just worry about who will be left at Lesta come August time AKCJ. Will he miss the £2.67 in his piggy bank i wonder ? Lol. SSN, reporting that he now tops Evertons list. You need the money. Reports saying that Lesta have lost £30m for season 2012/13 and the overall debt has to be slashed. Sell, Sell Sell. You know you have to. The fact that both dads and sone are big mates could also help swing any deal Hull Citys way. Just saying like. I would say that Lesta would more than likely go for Simon Moore from Brentford. FFP is being taken to the european courts as a restriction of trade. So Fifa/Uefa may lose the whole FFP process anyway.
Of course they can you idiot. It's their "Club" you can either comply with their wishes or you will have to leave! What do you think happens when clubs go into administration and they are deducted points?
You keep posting this bollocks, but I'm at a loss to understand why you can't get your rather empty head around it. The Football League is a private members club, they can set any rules they want and anybody who doesn't abide by those rules can be kicked out. There is no legal issue.
i totally agree a far better player with much more first class experience and probably cheaper. out of all the goal keepers we could possibly get vito would be my first choice, and was keen to stay at the club last time so with premier league football i reckon he would be up for it

His points are so weak, he has to misquote to try and give them some validity. It's really rather sad.
