That's quite 'wishy washy' Dave. The sort of response that you would usually throw out due to it's 'side stepping' Motives Time will tell on quite a lot of things.... (Hopefully it will tell us that we were both wrong and that we are the two best run clubs in the country)
It may be wishy washy but I have every confidence that in the fullness of time, JWM will say, "By God, that canary-dave was right!"
I run a company and it is relatively small, it only turns over around £2m. Peanuts really but ME sounds shady to me, the way his companies are registered in the Bermuda's and the fact that his not a named director for any of his 15-20 companies. It's all a bit odd. Good luck with him, glad we have Delia though.
Time will tell if Hughton manages to actually win more games than he loses next season! But hey look what he did at Newcastle!
so west brom finished 8th and lost more games than they won, on that logic you are saying their season isn't a sucess? must try harder
I thought it was quoted (even on these boards) that the amount Delia put into the club was roughly 15m? All this budgie harping on about Marcus Evans is pure bitterness on their part, all they say is he will run away from the club?what evidence have they got? nothing, is a bloke going to run away from a club that he has just given a manager a million bonus for keeping us up? Marcus Evans also put forward a proposal for wage capping of the championship clubs, but was scuppered by the premier league blackmail. And as for this never wanted to be photographed, is it wrong for a bloke to want a private life and could be with his kids without being hampered by the press? I'm sure if the boot was on the other foot you budgies would have a statue for him.
Guru, unless you have information to the contrary then you are only doing the same as others on here - speculating. You cannot say for certain he wont walk away, the same as I can't say he will. How do you know he keeps away from photographers to protect his kids? Do you have this on good authority or is it more speculation to defend him?
I don't for one minute want it to happen as I would never wish ill health or death on anyone, but say ME got run over by a bus tomorrow ? I think that might spell the end for ITFC as his benefactors would no doubt want to call in that massive debt, just saying.
Evans said publically that he wanted to protect the privacy of his family when he first took over at Ipswich Anyhoo Thai what are you doing joining in this debate? I thought you said that us binners were on your ignore list!
I think it's fair to say that 'innocent until proven guilty' would be a fitting phrase to use. He has done nothing to suggest that he will leave and therefore this Speculation that he will walk away at the first opportunity is something that I can't see any justification for.. I think it's fair to say that from our side of the fence we are stating what is apparent to us as followers of our club and basing our opinion on what we know and in keeping with trends (or 'form' if you will) on your side of the fence you are simply speculating
