No not when the likes of Mata Hazard and Cazorla are on less and are all better technically than Bale .

If they can get him for £150k a week, it is a good deal. Then there is the £50m buy out clause.

Tottenham really are a one man club now

I think he is worth it.

No need to be ashamed of spending money. Of course, he would take less to play for United or Chelsea but we have CL football

Since when were players paid on how technical they are? Bale creates and scores crucial goals all by himself, other players can do that but every now and then, Bale does it nearly every week. Of course he's worth more than Cazorla, Mata and Hazard.

Can't see him getting anywhere near £200k no matter what the DM think, they couldn't even be bothered to make up a quote from this "source" that says he's demanding or we're offering £200k a week.

Your wide boy wont like him demanding anything let alone £200k. The bald dwarf would have had a throb when Micky's agent asked for that! <laugh>

Who cares? Let Spurs pay it. Much like Liverpool with Suarez, Bale is a fantastic player but Spurs as a team/squad would be better off with 3 quality 20 million pound players rather than one 'glory hunting roy of the rovers shoot on site but never provide an assist' player.

As shown this year Spurs have won nothing and finished outside the top 4 with Bale (like Liverpool/Suarez) on brilliant form and playing almost every game. A dip in form or an injury and Spurs are ****ed. I genuinely would rather they keep him than risk them improving their squad with the money they would get for him (plus the saving in wages in his next contract).

For 60 million we got Mata, Azpi and Luiz with change. Stick those 3 in Spurs' first team instead of Bale and look how much better that team looks on paper. A one man team can't win the league. Please Levy, pay him what he wants and keep Spurs outside the top 4!!

  12. Remind us, Chelsea fans, what did you pay for Zhirkov, and Mutu, Duff? How did they turn out for you?

Yeah, that's right, boys. Before you start throwing stones at Levy, I really think you should have a little word with yourselves, and it might save embarrassment later.

Zhirkov left a Double winner, Duff left a Double PL winner. Duff actually contributed for us massively in the first season.

There will come a time where Spurs (and Arsenal) fans realise it's about value not price. <ok>

How is us spending like Levy not spending?

I always thought you were good for a laugh but lately you've just become a complete dick.

Tots you seem like you're an adult from some of the stuff you say but you respond like a complete child on here. We know Torres has been a flop, there's no point in constantly saying it.

You're a fine one to be talking about embarrassment hiag. Zirchov was a decent buy but didn't gel but still managed to win a double with us.

Mutu was a druggy and had to repay his fee to us. Duff was a great buy and had two or three fantastic seasons with us.

Levy is a known harp and will bulk at Bales demands which are excessive for a player who doesn't grasp the concept that there is no 'I' in team.

Zhirkov didnt work out because of squad depth at the time good player tho

Mutu was more intrested in snorting lines of coke had the potential to be one of the worlds best player early in his career

Duff please mate Duff never let anyone down at Chelsea we were playing some of our best footie when him and Robben were on either wing injuries in his third season with us meant he lost his place in the team.
