It doesn't sound like we deserved it today, but I think our final league position reflects what we deserve for the season as a whole. Oh, hang on a minute, I can feel a cliche coming on: at the end of the season, the table doesn't lie. Everyone finishes up more or less where they deserve to be. And QPR are bottom, because we lost to Reading. Nice.

3-0 means you deserved it! Your game plan was perfect, let us pass it around and hit on the break! Think the result was a bit harsh on us, but you took your goals beautifully. Lee Mason was a total cock as usual but, bad as he was, don't really think his ineptitude affected the result!

So well done Fulham, honours even over two games this season and looking forward to playing you next!

    Have a great Summer! <cheers>

Well, I'm glad I stayed up for the 5 seconds of analysis from Alan Hansen that we had a bad run, but we'll be happy with 12th.

Must admit that we deserved nothing from this game, totally inept in front of goal, I mean schoolboy stuff, how I miss Ferrie Bodde shots from outside the box! In fairness to Fulham, they had a plan and frustrated us, and we just clouldn't break them down, and then giving away awful goals to end a very poor 10 game run. The only positive Laudrup can take from these last ten games, including todays, is that we are clueless up front, and it has got to be a priority to bring in some quality strikers, we can't have Michu our midfieder carrying some inept forwards next season.

I really don't know where to begin with Williams, but if Arsenal come in for him, I won't object, well done Fulham, you wanted that more than we did, see you next season!....................<ok

Can't say there have been too many games this season where a win looked 0% likely, but I had a feeling this was going to be one of them. We got demolished at your place last season (at home too) and lost to yourselves at home this campaign, so expected the worst. A bit of luck went our way, but I couldn't really say we didn't deserve it. We played on the break, as most teams at the Liberty are forced to and got our reward for frustrating yourselves. We dominated against Liverpool for 70 minutes and got caught out by two goals from them on the break so it was nice to see it reversed this time round. Schwarzer, Hangeland, Kaca, Frimpong all impressive.

Nice end to the season. We rode our luck at times but I do remember that we lost at the Cottage earlier in the season in a game that we should not have lost, so I think that even things out.

I've been to just 7 away games this season and seen 3 wins, 3 draws and only 1 lose - I shall have to go more I think next season !

Really enjoyed the day out yesterday. First time I've been there and Swansea fans were great. Proper club.

Finally a win. So relieved to end with 3 points.
What a topsy turvy season that was!

Had a nice time in Swansea over weekend. Good weather, went to a few pubs along the Marina.
After going 1-0 up I was expecting to get pegged back as we were giving the ball away too often.
Some good saves by Schwarzer kept us in the game, and just after I had said Berbatov might as well
go and get a deck-chair, he scores (What do I know ;) ).
Think the 3 points helped us up to 12th which I think we just about deserve, but may be should have
come above Norwich who I think were poorer than us this season.

Tell me about it - my brother-in-law is a Norwich fan and we're going on holiday with them in a week's time. I really, really wanted Manchester City to equalise. Thank goodness we tonked them in August.

I don't want to oversell anything but this game underlined again the potential of Kaca, especially if Berbatov stays. Kaca has chemistry with Berbatov that Ruiz just does not. Berbatov's back-heel led directly to Kaca's goal and Kaca was the player alongside Berba for the second goal. We obviously need to upgrade our CM as most of our problems, for instance being unable to retain the ball, stem from there. But I think we have some real potential going forward if we can give them a base to play from. We need to add competition (hopefully Frei will also come on, he's still very young, or someone like Tankovic, Woodrow or Dembele), but I'd be happy with Kaca/Berba/Ruiz/Dejagah to start next year.

Let's not mention the added fact that Kaca is already a better finisher than Hugo will ever be!

Just caught up with recorded MOTD - Good to see Kaca doing well. I did note the involvement of Ruiz in 2 of the goals. So I'll agree with Surlyc about Kaca/Berba/Ruiz/Dejagah.
    MarkS great again in goal.
Although my gripe remains the set-up in central midfield leaving our defence exposed.

Pretty sure it was also a quickly taken Ruiz free kick which led to Kaca hitting the post. With an unmarked Berbatov open in front of an open net too, but can't fault Kaca for shooting.
