    The former, obviously.

A part of me is a little misty-eyed. Fergie has been in charge at United for literally as long as I can remember (I was born in 1986), and his teams and their success has been a big backdrop to my football memories. End of an era, for sure.

Quite agree. The man is a legend and rightly so. He became manager just a month before my son was born so he has never known anyone else at United, which is incredible really.

I have been watching football over 40 years and can honestly say I have never seen his like before and I doubt if I will again to be honest.

I am also a 1986 birth. So pretty much exactly what Bidley said!

I think I've said this before but I lived in Aberdeen through Ferguson's reign and he was a master then. Somewhere I have a video I taped off ther TV of an interview he did on Football focus with Bob Wilson where he said he was very happy at Aberdeen and it would have to be a massive job to tempt him away. At that time he believed Aberdeen could become the best in Europe and of course he had already won the European Cup winners Cup against Real Madrid - what a night that was !

I think the best thing about losing Kappa is seeing that back of that awful away strip. Hopefully next season will see the return of a kit that doesn't look like what you picked up out of the stig bin, when you forgot your PE kit at school!

I saw that too. I genuinely feel sorry for QPR now, nary a week goes by when they're not making negative headlines.

Haha, you don't see a lot of it these days, thought I'd inject a bit of prose into my babblings!

Very good job, I am a massive Blackadder fan (Blackadder II my favourite) There hasn't been a show like it since.

Does anyone here watch Arrested Development and is currently looking forward to the fourth season premiere!

I'm just starting the third season now, having breezed through the first two in just over a fortnight. The first couple of episodes didn't exactly impress me but I was convinced to stick with it, and it's absolutely incredible! GOB makes it.

Haha yes, I am a big AD fan. Gob is also my favourite Bluth! With Tobias a close second.

Hahahaha, I love one of the later episodes where all of the family do their own 'chicken' impressions, and Michael just asks 'Have any of you ever seen a chicken?'

    My favourite GOB moment:

<laugh> Classic. The guy who plays Gob plays more or less the same character in everything he's in. He was hilarious in Hot Rod, have you seen that? If no I recommend you do, funny stuff.

15 more wins and we'd have won the title and trebled the money! 10 more and we'd have had double the money!
