He was competition for Carragher (29), Agger (23) and Hyypia (34). If anything, he was a replacement for Sami since he was the eldest and Martin is good in the air.

 

my thoughts on rose are that its a monday so most bad gossip was publicised yesterday in the Sunday blitz.

I hope we go for Kyriakos Papadopoulos - seriously talented youngster who is mature and experienced for his age. A real leader in defence and a really strong tackler.

Overall i think the amount of names given in this thread alone indicates t me there are lots and lots of kompany's out there just waiting for the big scene to come

 

He need to hit the Gym and get stronger, I still think he will be a good player but again we need someone now.

 

With the build of Coates, I don't understand why he's not stronger. Bit like Heskey back in the day, built like the proverbial **** house but fall over if a fly sneezes near them!

 

He's a tall lad if he bulks up a bit and is stronger then he solves the centre back problem I can't see him being the replacement for Carra at the moment though.

 

That's what I was getting at though, he is not exactly small IMO, he has broad shoulders but maybe that makes him top heavy giving him a higher centre of gravity? #science

 

I think he looks a bit slim for his height.

Actually i've an ideal solution. lets send him to the scottish league like n'goo.
