Kasper has said many times his Dad has no influence over his career. He is his own person

Despite being in a higher league you not a big enough step up for Kasper. He will go to a top team when he leaves us. If a big club dont come in for him i think he will stay and either sign a new deal next year if we go up or leave on a free

were a premier league club and your deluded to think that any player in the championship wouldn't see us as a step up

You're a Premiership club, but you're deluded to think you have the pick over any Championship player you want.

You're also deluded if you think NP will respond to any transfer offer received from Hull with any other response than "<laugh> **** off!"

Think we need to take our club specs off for a moment

If Kasper is contemplating a move to the Premier league he (and his advisers) WILL consider all offers

Another thing - Kasper may be his 'own man' but he would be mad not to consult with his father - now if his Dad was an insurance salesman it might be a different case - but to think that his dad, one of the finest keepers in world football in the last 20 years would have no influence on any decision on Kasper's future career, is downright naiive - if not a little daft.

So; let's assume for the moment that Kasper has 3 alternatives:

    1) Stay with Leicester City - Positives - he has progressed (now a full international), is well respected by players and fans alike, is well paid and will likely be offered a new and improved contract. Negatives - he'll be playing in a very tough Championship where, as we've seen, promotion cannot be guaranteed.

    2) Move to Hull City - Positives - they are now in the Premiership which will definitely increase his profile, particularly in terms of an international career. He would be under the care of Steve Bruce, someone who his father knows, has worked with and sems to respect in many ways. Finally, he may well be offered a better contract (financial package) than his potential new one with LCFC because there is far more money floating about in the Prem. negative - Hull are a newly promoted club and such have been known to struggle in the Prem - if he was to be relegated (and particularly if we are promoted) would he have taken a backward step over the full period?

    3) Swansea - Positives - emerging Premiership side who seem to be progressing and building well on the the team that was promoted only a few years back. Next season heralds a European campaign. Look like retaining their better players so seem unlikely to be embroiled in the relegation dog-fight (all things being even). Managed by Michael Laudrup - fabulous player and proving to be almost as good as a manager. Bound to have influence with the Danish national team as well (you'd think). Negatives - more of an all-round 'unknown' than the first two.

On thing for sure - he won't stay with us because 'he loves us' - I'm afraid that is not a viable concept in the modern game.

I never said that and have said countless times that I don't expect us to do any business with Leicester , however I just don't see for one minute that if a bid was accepted kasper would turn us down because its not a step up , I'm sorry but that's just bollocks .

Not sure which of us your response is aimed at - but I thought I'd made that point - and whilst trying to remain objective about the whole situation (rumours)?

I think you'd have to offer him a hell of a lot.

I think Kasper could help Hull stay in the prem, would be a good signing for them, although if it were an option between Hull and Swansea, we all know hes going to choose Swansea.

I'm almost going to be offended if he doesn't get snapped up by a Premier League club, he's way too good for this league.

Regardless of Hull being interested or not I highly doubt we will be interested in doing business with them

They were very hostile towards us when we bid for Cameron Stewart. Why are we going to play ball now?

Kasper wont leave us unless he wants to. Offers wont interest us unless they are stupidly high
