Yes - in someways I am surprised we sold that many already but great news as the boys need a full support because to give Palace fans credit they can create a good atmosphere themselves.

I am glad at the way we have done it. We have prioritised those who regularly attend whilst giving those who have attended a small number of games the chance too. We havent done a Palace and sold out to the plastics immediately.

I agree with the way we have sold our tickets but I really don't like the use of the word 'plastics'.

I have been to four games this season (none at home) but through the years I have been a ST holder many times and some seasons when I didn't I still attended most games. I think about my team all the time, the result of the games dictates my mood for the following few days at least. I buy the shirts nearly every season, I listen to every game I can't watch, and if im in another country I do every thing I can to watch it.

My team is one of the most important things to me in my life. My blood is yellow.

    Am I a 'plastic'?

No, none of those on here are plastics imo. A plastic is someone who under normal circumstances would have no desire to attend a match, yet for one or two matches suddenly pops out of the woodwork and 'must' attend the match. You and many others on here Bucks would give your left arm for a season ticket in the rookery im sure. But circumstances dictate its not possible. But you are a true Watford Fc fan. I mean those Chelsea, United, Arsenal and others fans who have never wanted to enter the vic, but because its at Wembley they are suddenly interested.

Sorry for the rant Dan, I do understand what you mean, I just find that the term gets chucked about a bit too much. I am aware that we will get those who will just turn up for the event and haven't even experienced the journey we have been on this season.

No need to say sorry mate. I can understand. Which is why I tried to explain my opinion of it. Im not a huge fan of the word either, but cant think of a better one.

A great showing fromt he fans, and as Dan said, i think other than the technology issues, they did well in how they sold them

I wouldn't call them 'plastics', but just those people wanting to go to the glory games. I don't go to many matches in a season, but who we are playing doesn't really dictate the games I go to (other than by locality for away matches). My girlfriend asked to come along to this game but she has very little interest in football (although am trying to change that). I told her that she can't come to this one as didn't really want a non-fan of Watford taking a ticket someone else could have had. I will try and take her to a few games next season and hopefully add another fan to the Watford family!

Very admirable - but the real reason is......?

Nothing to do with copious amounts of alcohol and grown men crying is it? ;)

Haha more the fact I don't want her asking who's playing in what colour kit, who every player is, and what the rules are! Not sure she can stay silent for 5 minutes, let alone 90!

Ahem, when was the last time you had a drink at Wembley?

Might just about get a tea or coffee for £2.

Best to take a flask, the queues are never ending apart from anything else.

My boss is a Man City fan so he's been to Wembley quite a few times in the last few seasons. Definitely buy all food/drink outside of the stadium. Ridiculous prices inside - think he said about £4 just for a small sausage roll, and it's a similar price for half a lager. Expect will find a local pub before the game for a few pre-match drinks.

I know someone who has a Fan Id but had not bought a ticket for 2 years (since 2011) and still managed to get 2 tickets yesterday on-line. The fact that 15,000 tickets were sold on Saturday makes a nonsense of the supposed restrictions to "fans who had fan id and had bought tickets for 2012/13 matches". Did we really attract 7,500 non season ticket holders over this season? I think not.

Glad I've got my ticket anyway......
