For me, it was very close between Bassong and Snodgrass. Bassong has added leadership, class and composure to the defence throughout the season. Snods has been excellent attacking and tracking back all season, improving his game as time passed. He started the season as a CL player and finished as a standout PL player. Happy with either as PotS though.
Glad you made that point about Snodgrass tracking back, because I remember in his first few games he looked like a little boy lost when we didn't have possession and were being pressed back. It took him quite a few games but once he started to get the hang of what is required of him defensively he's been learning match by match and is now a much more rounded player. That said, I think Bassong deservedly shaded him for POTS.
To be honest, I wouldn't have minded those three being joint winners, there is so much to be praised about each one of them!
I think that the winning order was spot on, because that's what I predicted on RBF's prediction league.
I didn't say I was offended by them doing it, just don't see the point! I don't expect my kids to turn up at my place of work on a Friday and run round the car park and get applauded by my colleagues, just because I've done what I'm paid to do!
Spot on ILD. If the players really really cared and respected the Club like we the fans do, I would have a bit more time for this, but its all for self gratification.
Reasons Snoddy should've been PotS? http://blog.squawka.com/2013/05/24/...y-to-norwichs-plans-next-season/201305249856?
Bit mischievous but what about JR? It was when he returned that we picked up to pull clear of trouble and he was central to the great mid-season run.
obviously it's Robert Snodgrass! Superb performance at a whole... He is now under the radar of big clubs!
