Fair play to him for saying it.

Now Harry, get this "little group" out of the club.

cant disagree with what he said, but just sounds a bit like a manager angling for a way out if the right opportunity comes along..?

Bang on with Poyet, mate ................ In truth, I was only thinking of such over the weekend. Looks like Harry is backing himself into a corner. It won't end pretty.
As far a a young up and coming manager goes, Poyet could well be the ticket.

The timing is perfect, do we or don't we ...............

Why wait until the end of the summer Harold? You haven't exactly got the 'good group' performing. Why do players behave like this - host of reasons, but lack of respect for their manager is one. A good manager, in any walk of life, is able to motivate the demotivated, get improvement out of poor performers, and yes, cull when necessary. Harold isn't even trying, he gave up before he started. He's lost the dressing room to a much greater extent than Warnock or even Hughes did.

Article has limited credibility though, Adel was on compassionate leave due to the death of his grandmother.

You make a very good point of interest ...................... If such is the case, TF may need to sound it out asap and act on it.
Footnote - I have backed Harry from day one but his comments and attitude of late resembles a manager looking to force the owners hand in getting rid of most the team and or hatching an escape plan.

Or .............. I'm completely wrong, which wouldn't be the first time.

On the subject of Poyet,I believe one of the main reasons he & his coaching staff have been suspended is due to someone taking a **** on the away dressing room floor at the Amex before Palace turned up for the second leg!!

And now, quoted on SSN "I'm too old to have aggravation from players every day". Err, so you're too old to be a football manager then. This is the longest and slowest resignation letter ever. Get a move on and go.

Every day this ****wit has to have his media coverage, at the cost of what little remains of the dignity of our club.

I don't detect any ulterior motive in what Harry says. There's clearly a clique of players that feel secure in their own company, do as they please and are indifferent to the interests of other players, manager, owner, fans, the club as a whole. They are poisoning the well. Harry knows they have to be cleared out, and is sending a message to the owners that some difficult contractual issues need to be faced over the pre-season. Essentially, Harry wants them out so he can rebuild even if it costs the owners to finance the move of these recalcitrants.

Who are these unnamed players? I'd be interested to hear views. Bosingwa for sure. Perhaps Taarabt, Traore, Diatite, Mbia. Any others? Hoilett? Granero?

The biggest risk for you guys is, if they let him continue, the pre-season will be a joke then he'll disappear ten games into the new season. It would be difficult to recover from that.

Its not just Harry. Paulo Di Canio had a go at some of his players for going to an all night Casino during the week.

I guess bad behaving football players have always been around, I mean Stan Bowles wasn't a saint was he?

    The cull starts now.

Im not sure mate. if this really is the case then does he have to air it in public?. Could he not get Tf in a meeting one day and explain this too him. then TF could get the legal team on the case and get it sorted.
I've had to get rid of people for similar (basically not giving a f**k). its all about building a case against them and collecting evidence to justify sacking them. if they are really doing this, his best course would be to keep stum..act as if nothing has happened and discipline them as per normal.
Once has enough evidence as decided by the legal team, then he can boot them out.
What I've larned is that people who do this eventually hang themselves....give them enough rope....!

the more I think about it, the more I think he's getting ready to go....but then again WTF do I know!

The bit I don't get is why is he telling the world about this and not just discussing it with TF privately? Do the business quietly behind the scenes and make announcements/pronouncements when the deed is done. Anyone in any business who behaves as he does can not be seriously committed to giving his best to the job, which is pretty ironic.
