Why isnt our prick of a manager fining them 2 weeks wages each time they are late then.
He is showing no signs of even wanting to turn this around, I think hes distancing himself from us to get another job.

    http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/harry-qpr-players-cant-get-up-for-training?

Harry Redknapp condemned QPR’s under-performing players after their dismal season ended with a 1-0 defeat at Liverpool.

And the manager again warned that relegated Rangers could find the going tough in the Championship next season.

“We’ve got no divine right to come straight back up. We’ll have to work hard,” he said.

“I’ve inherited a group with some good professionals and also with people who are not so good.

“That has been the problem – lots of them can’t get up early enough to get to training on time.

“We didn’t have the quality to stay in the Premier League. We need to improve that in the summer with lads who want to work hard and do well for QPR.”

The only firing that should be done is through a machine gun.

Why are the people that are disinterested not training with the reserves?

There's plenty of honest guys who would at least give their all - I'd have preferred a season of Derry, Mackie, Faurlin etc who people may say aren't good enough than a load of better players (and we have a lot of players that should be good) letting all and sundry down.

...and why was Faurlin farmed off (since he was labelled a good lad).

...and why are all these issues revealed after the season rather than being addressed from the outset?

It's all very well Harry complaining about the disinterest of his players, but he's sending very mixed messages with the team selections. Why select men who have openly stated that they want to leave- like Mbia/Granero/Hoillet? Why has bosingwa been selected at all since we were officially relegated. It's scandalous that the likes of Harriman have been unused. Players will continue to think arriving at training late is "ok" as long as Harry selects them.
His constant negativity and whinging genuinely makes me pine for a Nigel Adkins type manager. The guy is clearly a big sap, but at least his heart is in the right place.

    Totally agree mate.
Once we were officially down, all the loans should have gone back & we should have put out the youngtsers to guive them a taste of what they would get if they got us back up.
I like derry et al but its time to move on. Kep those who want to be here/there and the rest can "do one".

So so frustrating. If we knew we were down, either play a team of fighter with some pride or give others a chance. Not just go through the motions!

    Aye spot on Queens
It was sad not to see Ehmer get a run out today as well, i would have been gutted in his position. Messing about with subbing mbia/granero has meant a genuine QPR youth product may never get to play at Anfield.
Once we were down it would have been nice to see all the "triers" played every week. Mackie is limited, but his energy levels could have at least given the fanbase a lift over the past month. Harry has definitely been trying to make a point with his selections. He wants to convince the board a lack of "quality" needs to be remedied by (big) summer investment. Playing mackie would be tantamount to admitting there isn't a lack of quality, but a lack of spirit.

This article doesn't make happy reading either: "It's them or me: Either QPR dump flops or I walk says Harry Redknapp"

I suspect the players he is talking about he is dropping...Adel, Bootswinga, Cesar, ?Diakite.

I suspect MBia and Granero make it in to training....so he has to picK them. I think the team was being formed by these decisions. Even though Granero wants away, he is still doing what his contract says and turning up

Harold's man management skills are there for all to smell ... I lost my vision about our manager a while back and since then all I see in a twitching Diggery Diggery Delvet who has surfaced in the middle of a giant cow pat

Boy Dave you are mine of literary illusions...I like it...and can see the ressemblance...is it the eyes.

This frenzied blaming, and finger pointing is getting a bit to me too.
Don't talk about it...do something about it...

Shut up now Harry, and get on with your job, or get out of here

Not that we needed any further evidence to support this but we are in deep trouble.

We will be rattling around the bottom third of the NPC and, unless these matters are addressed, we will be in danger of successive relegations.

Can you imageint this team playing a young and hungry Brighton side, if they get through, of many of the others?

It is going to be a busy and, I regret to say it Tony, an expensive summer. Sadly the expense will be in getting rid of some while much more modest signings join along the way.

I'm 54 now. Perhaps I'll plan my 60th around QPR's promotion back to the PL?! Miserable thought but that's the way of it.

That makes it 58 for me........entirely agree RTId. Thing is I wouldn't mind 3 or 4 years in the NPC if we were building something that will last under young and imaginative management. I have written off next season as a waste already - even in the unlikely circumstances that we get promoted we will be straight down again as it will be built on foundations of sand.

I seriously think Harold is building his exit strategy as mentioned on other threads ... This needs to get sorted in the next few weeks IMO

I'm not sure any of us can be sure which players he is referring to Beth. Taarabt hasn't had a history of being late for training as far as I know? What about Samba? Not been seen for weeks!!

Sorry I have slandered Adel, he has returned home for family bereavement.
It has been claimed that Samba is injured...politically or not I dunno. But it did appear that Harry was really cross with him with his failure to get fit after coming from Russia...He has always looked "over-large" to me...not lean and hungry.
Diakite also has completely disappeared. Did he have depression problems? (I know Onouha did after the death of his mother, but I think Diakite did too)

SWP has disappeared, as has Betty and DJ.
Jenas was not even in the squad last week but no mention of injuries.
    All very mysterious.

Anyway, one player is accruing more fines that he is earning according to Harry...that must be someone who is not being picked... I that must be Bootswinger....or is that just predujuice?

SWP really is injured Beth, saw a photo of him with his leg in plaster.

When asked about his team after the Liverpool game, Harold identified Hill, Derry, Green and Harriman as having a good approach before he dried up. So presumably the rest can go. Though how that addresses the 'lack of quality' I'm not quite sure.
