Nothing wrong with WUMming idiots on 606, just don't do it here. My personal opinion is that links to other forums should only be posted on the off-topic thread, but that's just me. I'm not sure if this has been reported here: Hispania drivers allowed to race. As if Monaco wasn't dangerous enough.
I think both Mercedes drivers should be congratulated for qualifying where they are tomorrow and the fact that they both crashed previously shows they are moving slowly into the right direction.
wow, I must admit, Vettel has pulled out a great quali-lap, he gains position in my "great drivers" book. It's amazing to hear them going into the corners with the refs open, never heard that before. It gives an overwelming feeling of speed, speed ,speed... My hopes for an Alonso P1 are waisted, now he's starting on the dirty side, but if someone could give these Ferrari-mecanics a few brooms, problems solved no? At least he's already on the inside of turn 1 and if he starts like last week in Spain (and maybe uses the pit-exit), who knows...
norro, whenever Alonso has started P4 this year, he has always led into T1. Dont worry, he'll be just fine. He's got a Vettel bad track and a Button ahead of him, and ofcourse a very unconfident Webber.
I'm glad jenson is on vettel's side at the starting line. He is a fair driver and wont risk crashing into a rival like some drivers.
Both HRT's allowed to race, and a few days ago they decided not to comp[lain about the blown exhausts, any connection?
I would say to you two if you keep swearing at each other on these forums that there are 2-3 mods who would be quick to sort it out...
Ferrari's strength is in race pace/ high fuel and I'm pretty sure Ted mentioned something in one of the practice sessions that said Ferrari were happy with race pace but unsure about qualifying. After qualifying, Pat Fry said: "our car had the potential to secure a front row placing. Vettel's time was not within our reach, but we could have been up there at the front." If we assume that Hamilton could have gotten pole (as he claimed he could), that would put Ferrari as 3rd fastest in qualifying, but not too far from Red Bull and McLaren. I wouldn't be surprised if Alonso is faster than Button and Webber in race pace.
There seems to be a lot of mud flying around today. I've only glanced at a couple of threads but it seems that the constructive stuff witnessed in this forum recently has taken second place to the old mud-slinging, and with comments needing to be removed. I'm pleased I've not seen what needed to be removed but very unhappy that there was a need for any action at all. I'd like to take this opportunity to suggest that pasting links from 'WUM' sites in order to invite further interest in such WUMmery, is not at all constructive. And reading 'between the lines' of the comments in this thread, it appears to have precipitated the need for moderators to take action. Bit of a shame. - I thought things were shaping up nicely here.
The chances of Alonso winning are slim, but we can always hope! Anyone but Vettel - come on Jenson, do us proud! P.S. What is your main language?
lewis should be able to start on whatever tyres he wants because he didnt set a time in q3. we'll have to wait and see,but if he can it'll help him massively for obvious reasons.
