That's just something we'll have to live with whenever we're in the Top flight now. Phil Brown's moronic actions have given us a particular image that just makes us look hilariously embarrassing to all the other sides. On the other hand, at least we're unique
It's a load of **** is it? Ok. So people don't laugh at us for that moment when Browny put the lads on the field at half-time? Pretty much every Premier League fan that doesn't follow Championship football will remember us solely for that.
No not at all and I never said they did. I'm saying that's the reason for such a negative perception of the Club by most deluded fans that do an article like that, dub us as a horror team when they probably don't even follow the Championship. It's much easier for someone to take the micky out of us, that Man City moment didn't help. Although Bullard's celebration the next Season regained some lost pride and earned some more respect.
You're barking mate. Bullard's celebration was a light-hearted dig at the journalists and pundits who seemed obsessed with that trivial if highly visible moment. Phil Brown= clown? That Man City defeat was only our second away defeat (the first being 4-3 at Old Trafford) and came on Boxing Day. It must be unheard of a for a newly promoted side to perform so well away from home like we did. I reckon that made a Phil Brown a great manager rather than a moron. If we had won the League that season, we would still have had snide comments and bitchiness from the vast army of couch analysts and snobby know nowt M25 ****s- IT'S WHAT THEY DO, FFS.
I'm starting to enjoy aggie shoehorning M25 into most of his posts. It's helping me get over mussy and his Humbersaard and Bransuuurm references. I'm finally moving on lads.....
Really? When I read his post the first thought that sprang to mind was "he's never getting over Mussie". I don't think he can. He needs our understanding more than ever.
He's left us to support Ferriby, where they play real football, not WWE style football as they do in the PL.
Didn't you fall to bits after Brown did that? If you did then you'd have to say that Phil Brown = clown.
The wheels has started to come off the game before against Sunderland when we were beaten 4-1. I think Brown did the team talk with the best intentions but I don't think it was the best idea in the long run as we hardly picked up again all that season.
I always think its strange that these articles ( remember what the threads about) are never signed by anyone, they are just anonymous. Thats why they can spout **** without any come back.
Apart from the second half of that game which we drew 1-1 and the following game against Villa when we were miles better.
