Well, the season's over now and Arsenal have scraped in again at our expense.I guess they beat up on the little guys better than Spurs!
Whether Newcastle played like dummies or not,Arsenal persevered and got through.
However I do feel Man U are just filling in time i.e. giving Chelsea 3 points and, come on United,5-5!You've got to be joking!I'd like to fine you 20 points for not bothering!!!!!!!league winners or not......
I guess we will be saying goodbye to Bale as he goes on to his odyssey somewhere. It's been a pleasure watching you lad,but it leaves us wondering.......who the hell is going to score for us and win matches next season? We don't need one goalscorer,we need two!!!!
My Lord!Didn't we miss Sandro? He was player of the season for me until his injury.
P.S. As we return to the Europa League,no more reserve games.Let's win it.
P.P.S. I suppose we will see Chelsea and Arsenal in the Europa later on so see you, boys!
What makes you say United gave Chelsea 3 points? And what makes you think Chelsea and Arsenal will be in the Europa?
The real reason you fell short was because of Levy, and but for Bale having his best season and playing out of his skin, could have been far off.
In AVB you have a better coach (IMO), but Levy has weakened the squad. If AVB had Redknapp's Spurs team of last year he'd have finished 3rd this season and last.
All 3 clubs had the potential to emerge as title contenders but haven't. You can see in certain areas where the London clubs are better than the Manchester clubs.
Arsenal are far better than City going forward, far better defensively than United. Same with Chelsea.
Spurs are far better at counter attacking than the Manchester Clubs as well, especially away from home.
If Wenger had the sense to realise Koscielny is by far the best CB they have at their club and had spent £12m on a top striker they'd have been 10 points better off
If Chelsea had recalled Lukaku in January and not loaned out De Bruyne and other key players + sacked a manager mid-season they'd be 10 better off too
If Levy had not weakened the squad and/or bought a top striker in January or in August Spurs would have been 10 better off.
Spurs are miles better than 3/4 of this league, they could easily hit the 78-80 point mark with a bit more balance to the side.
