Bear in mind, too, that Hamilton was hoping to start sixth because he expected "another driver" to lose his place.
Well Perez will be in hospital overnight so i wouldn't expect to see him in the race. Technically you are right though and it is tenth.
Lewis will be furious. I guess rules need to be followed, but I do feel sorry for Lewis That's just silly. You can't blame Massa for that - not even slightly. I can understand that he is frustrated, but that's not Massa's fault.
Rules are rules tbh. If it was another driver we wouldn't really be taking a second glance, would we?
Absolutely. I wasn't particularly bothered by all the bitching about other drivers Hamilton's done this week (I just thought it was all quite amusing) but I must say that watching that interview with him I was quite dismayed to hear the part when he hopes the other driver loses his place and the part when he criticises his team.
If anything, Massa helped Lewis because he bailed out that lap just before the crash and so didn't wreak his tyres as much.
Least 9th is the clean side, look i found a positive Should be an interesting race with Lewis well out of position, a good launch from the start and an aggressive first lap, overtakes possible against the Williams and Mercedes. Then it gets tough after that. Also after what we saw in Spain, watch out for Fernando.
As a fan of Lewis i'm gutted but if he cut the chicane then he must be penalised. I fear for him tommorow if he has a poor start. He could lose a couple of places and if he struggles during the race and Vettel and Button race a blinder I fear he may get lapped and that would be sad. If Button wins I would be happy, in fact I don't mind who wins as long as it's not Vettel.
The run off is nothing to Spain's, the only way you're going to get past somebody there is if they have a horrible start and you have a great start.
Hamilton doesn't rate Button's chances: I agree that Vettel's going to be tough to beat, but McLaren-speak and team camaraderie appears to have abandoned Hamilton.
With a little bit of luck and good tyre strategy, jenson might come out on top if vettel doesn't do the same.
Honestly as a button fan. I expect Webber to jump JB at the start and then for Vettel to run away with it.
If Webber gets infront of JB I agree it's over. In my honest opinion they will not allow Webber to pressue Vettel for the win where the gap to be extended aginst McLaren is on the cards. It's nothing against Mark it's just Vettel could pull a 60+ point gap on Lewis heading to canada.
