Adam mitchell to start Adam can play up front or on the wing and is in his first season as a professional. He played for the under-18 side while still a schoolboy and progressed onto a two-year scholarship in summer 2010. No player featured more for the youth team than Adam in 2010-11 as he played a total of 31 games, scoring six goals. He added another five goals in 23 games for the young Black Cats in 2011-12. Adam also broke into the reserves last term, playing a total of 12 games and scoring twice.
