Good morning all from a dry, slightly milder Weston-super-Mare! I find it hard to believe that so many people still watch Eurovision, in spite of the "rigged" block voting from all the Eastern Block countries, we will never, ever win it again, no matter who represents us! Then again, a lot of people enjoy watching wrestling,so I suppose being rigged does not prevent enjoyment! Rant over!
Morning all from an overcast but milder bandit country - just catching up on some TV. Try watching Treme for some quality music - in my humble opinion, just a bit better than Eurovision.
Denmark... solo girl singer with back up drummers etc... Bonnie about 7 from bottom.... she was out of it really..... just not the right singer or song...
Celine Dion once competed for Luxembourg. There's a Bollywood Dance Company in London, I imagine there's singers as part of it - we should let them have a go next year, they're the sort of different thing that might do well. Not saying they'd win it, as has been mentioned that's unlikely because of how the voting goes.
Now that's an idea. Maybe if we entered a Tennis player into Eurvision we may have a chance of winning it!
Eurovision is such a joke, that if put in Asley and Pudsey, we'd probably go and win the bloody thing
I know who Pudsey is, but who's Asley? How about entering the actors/singers who were the school choir in Harry Potter singing the Hogwarts school song?
Morning all - from a rather smelly household. Blocked drain overflowing outside means no-one, no clothes, no dishes can be washed - and being Sunday, no plumbers/drainers available. Second blockage in two days here - after the results of my ECG on Friday. Spotted a photo online of David Beckham in tears after playing his last game before retiring & that prompted a question for you all. Announcing his retirement at the same time as DB was an ex-Hornet - Charlie Miller. Can anyone think of a little-known connection between the two?

Morning all Sitting with a coffee surveying the lawn I cut yesterday evening. Is there a Eurovision Lawn-mowing show? I think I might finish higher than 19th Off to see Hampshire/Durham one-dayer later...though it doesn't look much like cricket weather at the moment.
Morning all - looks like we have sold over 32,000 tickets for Wembley, so well on the way to sell out. Pleasant morning in bandit country and the sun is out and making the newly mown lawn look very nice! I just dropped Little Miss W_Y off at the station as she is working today, when I got back our neighbour stopped me and informed me that they have put their house up for sale. Will be interesting to see the price and how much interest there is...new neighbours and Mrs W_Y is worrying already!
