    I have a bath once a week.

For the other six days I use wet-wipes to wash my face, armpits, bollock-bag, cock and bum-crack.

I literally do nothing but sit on my arse for 40 weeks of the year, so I don't really get dirty.

Played my first match for my old GAA club in Ponders End. In fact it was the first ever match for an underage team at our club. The opposition amalgamated with us a year or so later....now that club has gone too.

Played the London u-14 final there the following year. I played my last match as a senior with the club on that pitch too.

As i go past that spot on the Stansted express I gaze whimsically out the window and think of all the joyous days the younger me had right there. There will always be a special place in my heart for Ponders End.

I have loads of other cool stories if you want to hear em.

Cool story, Rebel. At least one person has a good memory of Ponders End.

Back during the 1700s, when highwaymen and footpads were rife in these parts (it is still the same nowadays), the convicted would be sent to a gaol that was sited near to the present day station. The cell-block had small barred windows that looked out to the nearby gallows, and the convicts would literally 'ponder their ends.'

Every day is a school day. I always wondered but never bothered finding out.

I had thought it was to do with a territorial boundary like Crouch End.

Nah, I wasn't too far from Ponders End but I don't think I ever went there for any reason other than a match.

But if you mean London in general....no. Not really.

I watched that history of the Underground documentary. It was very good.

Never heard of it. Saw a ghosts of the underground documentary - wouldn't fancy walking along a tunnel with footprints keeping pace with me in the dirt. Would **** myself.
