We already have signed a young kid from them recently Caceido (spelling). Perhaps Spurs can become our new feeder club.
i I think this lad could play in every outfield position, left or right, look how much we paid for the under achievers we have on the books at the moment, he is going on to full cap status without a doubt. Ok his price has been raised and rightly so, he has been along with ming our saviour this season and it has not gone unnoticed by many,, outside our ranks. I think he will have his pick of teams to sign for
Rose is very good. Or, is he only better than the stream of poor fullbacks we have had over the recent years. Great in defence mind, with his strength and speed but there is a question over his attacking. Threatens a bit going forward but could do with a bit more 'Leighton Baines' about his finishing. Maybe he would improve linking up with someone with a wee bit skill and brain other than corkhead McClean. Worth buying at a sensible price.
We know him. He knows us, the set up and appears to have enjoyed himself here. We seem to have taken to each other. Given the option I honestly think he would come back. I can also see him causing absolute havoc in midfield.
I would take Rose (anything up to 12m), Huddlestone (no more than 3.5m), Adebayor and Townsend, I wouldn't turn my nose up at either.
Pay them what they want for Rose, he would be worth every penny. Huddlestone?????? No ****ing way, there's a reason he doesn't get games, he is a flash in the pan cart horse, who manages to pass to a team mate once in a blue moon. We already have **** that can do that!
Totally disagree about Huddlestone mate. He's a cracking player, passing is one of his strong points, IMO.
hudds is a quality player, can poot hs foot on the ball and marshall a game but too injury prone for my liking. seen his best days and we've bought too many players like that. townsend i like the look of. great engine, good touch, good shot...can be developed
Huddlestones pass to Bale when Gareth Bale FC played Man City in April, was excellent. He came on as a sub and did really well. But even so, I want us to get away from British based players... they seem to have the wrong attitudes, mainly concerned about being spotted at a club and having the pic printed in mag rather than spending more time on the training pitch.
