These days it is how the offended perceives it, the intention seems not to matter any more No doubt someone will be religiously offended for Kenwyne even if he was not which he probably was possibly.
Pretty despicable in my opinion. Jones is entitled to his beliefs and shouldn't have to put up with something as disgusting as that. The dressing room culture can be one of the most funny and exciting atmospheres there are, but it can equally be stupid, ignorant and downright offensive. Hope the FA intervene and throw the book at Whelan.
The Beeb ran out of Fergie article themes Actually given how many pages the getting paid to thread has, are you really that surprised the pig's head has got exposure on the internaught?
15 match ban this time, 5 games for the pig's head and 10 additional games for being South American and robbing Ghana of a goal.
Bluff merged the paid for thread with the fifa thread so it looks like its had way more responses than it has. Typical yank
Pinning the blame on someone else, typical Briti....... Brek Shea is not the sharpest tool in the shed to say the least. Probably needs to focus on getting playing time so he can actually make the national team for ****ing once.
Well it's rather unfortunate that you are living in an area of Belfast that attracts the worst kind of 'culchie' as 99% of the 'culchies' that I know from Tyrone are NOT openly racist.
I've read in the media that Jones isn't a Muslim, but actually a Rastafarian. His missus retweeted a comment about Islam, which lead to the initial confusion. They don't eat pork, either. He's also denied smashing up Whelan's car.
No problem, just thought it was a strange choice! The unionist groups are so far away from actual religion these days anyway. The link between Sinn Fein/the IRA with Catholicism seems far stronger. Think the unionist parties would welcome anyone, black, while or yellow as long as they voted for them, Sinn Fein too. Youth, alcohol and being part of a group are all probably factors too!
It appears somebody has taken an axe to that poor pig's bonce. Obviously if he's strictly religious he's going to be offended, and I'm sure he was also jumping for joy that they'd wrapped it in his (presumably designer) clothes. Got to ask though what kind of managerial team allows an environment to be established where something this stupid happens? (the Owen egging shows that the players feel fine about pulling these pranks more than once, though good on 'em for that one, the horse cock whisperer). Ok the odd laugh/practical joke is good for camaraderie/team spirit, but would this ever happen at Ushited? (Answer no, because they want to win things). Says a lot about the non-existent ambition at that club and the 'professionals' playing there. (don't like Stoke, can you tell?)
This kind of thing should stay in club....why are staff squealing to the press about it. They've made a right pigs ear of it. Also why is it such a big deal to warrant an investigation? Why cant players just put oink to paper, do their jobs and bring home the bacon? Now the press has their snout in it, they will go wild. Its just another ham fisted attempt by the media to attack football.
Can't believe you're trotting out the same old cliches again. The question is, should KJ sty or should he go?
