Well, it's all been doom and gloom, recently. So I wanted to make a thread to celebrate some of the more positive moments of the season.

I think, unlike some of our other poorer seasons, there have actually been a lot of memorable moments (even if they have been few and far between!). So here are a few of mine:

    1) Bruges (a)
Amazing trip, Geordies taking over the central sq, followed by great fun in the away end, and sneaking into the corporate lounge, getting free drinks and meeting Tiote.

    2) Chelsea (h)
My first time in the strawberry corner, as I gave away the ticket for my usual seat. What an atmosphere and what a game. The turnaround to win it 3-2 towards the last minute was the closest to the arsenal 4-4 we've had for years.

    3) Benfica (h)
What an effort from the lads, the best I've seen us play for a while, in the second half. We actually came so close to winning too. The standing ovation after Benfica's goal to show our appreciation of the effort was a great moment.

There's mine then! There aren't too many more, but maybe some of those last gasp winners/european away trips will live long in people's memories.

    Post yours here!

Hopefully my best memory willl be seeing that ****ing Cockney bastard Pardew darken our Stadium for the last time.

How can anybody trust a guy who's lips don't move when he talks?

Does this count as one of the best memories of the season?

    The game against Southampton.

Goufrann's goal at QPR - that's what it's come to in hopefully Pardew's 2nd last game in charge ...

The biggest positivity for me is that hopefully we'll stick with Pardew next season.

Benfica Away - Took over Rossio Square and the noise we made at the real Stadium of Light. Lisbon is a gorgeous place.

Benfica Home - Second half our play was fantastic. Best we played all season

Chelsea Home - The comeback and Sissoko absolutely destroying Ashley Cole with that run.

QPR Away - Gouffran's goal and how it felt to actually be winning.

Best memory was especially before and even after the 1st game vs Spurs. We wanted to try and attack the top 4, there was still a fortnight to bring that goddam CB in (and maybe someone else...ho-hum) and we'd just (somehow) beaten Spurs, a team who would surely be competition for a top 4 place come May. Ah, good times.

Best moment for me was the Chelsea game, what a brilliant effort by our team and the atmosphere was electric.
Moments like those are too few and far between sadly, but what a blast when they do come along.

Chelsea H - just proper ding dong and we played some lovely stuff, Cisse against Fulham - just pure adrenalin rush for the whole ground, Benfica H and the whole Europa campaign in general - rousing effort , Spurs first game and Demba's lovely effort.

    1. the win against Chelsea - and thinking what a bargain Sissoko was
    2. Beating Wigan 3-0 (including Bigi's wonder goal)
    3. Europa - especially beating Metalist and then Anji (in injury time, with Cisse's 'celebration')
    4. Wigan's relegation being confirmed with that stuffing by Arsenal lollollol

    "Best mammaries of the season"

Just read the thread title properly. My vote goes to Warm Pouch (aka Norma Snockers)
