Swansea boss Michael Laudrup may select the same team that narrowly lost to Manchester United last weekend.

Goalkeeper Michel Vorm is again missing, along with injured midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung.

    confirms it I suppose

    good read

    MATCH PREVIEW
Few teams this weekend will have deserved the obligatory lap of honour quite as much as Swansea. If last season's historic, best-ever 11th place finish under Brendan Rodgers was the stuff of dreams, then this season Michael Laudrup has "Jacked" up the bar even higher.

The prize of eighth place, coupled with their League Cup win, and guaranteed Europa League football next season will earn the Swans a raucous, joyous send-off on Sunday.

This was the team that Rodgers built, and Laudrup, using his Spanish league know-how, perfected. His ability to sign players of great technique, if not reputation and price tag, has marked him out as a manager who'll doubtless be linked with many a summer vacancy - and not just in the Premier League.

I notice that Laudrup himself has suggested that, for now, eighth is probably the summit of what is realistically possible for Swansea, effectively winners of the mini-league within the Premier League. Mind you, next season they'll have another target - not only to match what they've done this year, they'll also HAVE to beat Cardiff home and away!

Fulham travel to South Wales in, frankly, dreadful form - over the last six matches the worst in the Premier League, with a run of five successive defeats and no wins in seven. Of course they are now safe from relegation, but back-to-back top-half finishes under Mark Hughes, and last season with Martin Jol already seem an awfully long way off.

Jol's position now seems secure into next season, despite recent speculation suggesting a parting of the ways could be imminent. Either way, Sunday could be a farewell for several of Fulham's players - the Cottagers have an ageing group of players with 10 of the first-team squad out of contract come the season's end and 12 of them aged 30 or over.

These are two clubs with relatively modest budgets by top-flight standards, and so the merit payments for final Premier League placing will perhaps mean more to them than most. Both can, on their day, play football easy on the eye, and of a very high standard - I was at Fulham to see them humiliate Norwich 5-0 in August, and here at the Liberty the following week to see "Swansalona" pass West Ham into submission.

    Where to drink:

There are several decent pubs in the area of Craven Cottage, my own favourite being O`Neills just over Putney Bridge and along Fulham High Street. Although as I write this I cannot find any reference to this pub on the O`Neills website, so this has possibly changed ownership since my last visit.

The Crabtree on Rainville Road welcomes all Away fans and is only a 10-15 minute walk from the ground. It has a terrace over looking the Thames and a BBQ in the beer garden. Just go along the Stevenage Road away from Craven Cottage and turn left along an alley which runs behind the Hammersmith End, when you reach the River Thames turn right and walk along the riverside path and you will find The Crabtree on your right hand side.

The Zulu Bar has apparently re-opened as Joe Cool`s on the Fulham High Street and is quite popular with Away fans, also close to the ground. Others include the Eight Bells which is very close to Putney Bridge tube station. The Dukes Head is also highly recommended with good views across the Thames, with a great atmosphere, but do allow a good 25 minute walk to the ground from here. We drank here on our last visit and were made very welcome, obviously very busy but there is seating outside and on a nice day we were allowed to drink outside next to the river.

The normal allocation is around 3,000 tickets and even though the stand is relatively new there are a couple of supporting pillars that may spoil your view from Row DD and above.

There is plenty of leg room and a good feature for the away fans is that the stand has been constructed not of concrete but metal and plywood and allows plenty of noise by stamping up and down on it!!

Where we were sat in the Putney End we were very close to the front and `The Cottage`, where we had a good view, good atmosphere and an even better view of the WAGS that decided to sit out and enjoy the sun on the balcony of the pavillion!

Food and drink can be purchased from a good number of stalls behind the stand, try going to the stalls around to the left of the ground and enjoy the views along the Thames. Alcohol is available at the usual London/football ground prices, as well as a range of food from Lamb & Mint Pie to rolls with a Cumberland Sausage filling, all around the £3.50 mark.

I did one match thread for this season only.

It was last Sundays game against Man Utd and the 1st piece of information was a pub guide. It was the only match thread all season that contained a pub guide  Much better than PGF's match threads which just say "Discuss" :D I even upon request included a link to Manchester's massage parlours too. Why aren't all bloody match threads like that? I know who plays for he bloody Swans and I know what colour we play in so sod all that, put the bloody pubs up all season. I know we don't vote for best match threads but mine was the best even if I say so myself :D:D
