Thanks for that. Lloyd Isgrove reminds you a bit of WGS..? In what way other than him being a bit shortish [5ft 10ins]..? No big nose. No ginger. Not Scottish [Welsh]. No Tam-O'Shanter. Do tell of this mysterious connection, Lamb.
Rickie Lambert and Luke Shaw are doubts for Southampton's final game of the season against Stoke. Lambert, the Saints' top scorer this season, has been struggling with a knock to his back for a month and will be assessed, while left-back Shaw has had a virus. Neither has trained this week, although manager Mauricio Pochettino is hopeful they could feature at St Mary's.
I think Lambert deserves a rest given he's had an injury for a while. Who will play left back? Forren? Yoshida? Jos? Targett? Personally I'd like to see the latter.
Shaw is pictured in training yesterday, he will be fine, reason he has missed training is because he has had exams all week I think not because of a virus as reported....is it just me or whenever he is a doubt he has always got some sort of cold/flu/virus?
Assuming Shaw and Lambert are out: -----------------Boruc--------------- Yoshi-----Fonte------Hoiveld-----Clyne ----Schneid------------Cork----------- Puncheon-------Lallana-------Mayuka -----------J Rod---------------------- Very attacking, yet with 3 CB's in defence to handle the stoke height/physicality.
The players have asked for fans to remain in the stands at full-time, so a lap of honour can occur.
We'd be a laughing stock if our fans invaded the pitch to celebrate finishing 11th or something. Surely people aren't that stupid?
I'm even more desperate! Please, please, please let Rickie play!.......I could win £770 if he finishes top scoring Englishman and Saints finish 11th
There will be some idiots that run on the pitch. And hopefully not too many people follow. But I wouldn't count on it.
Stoke City have launched a full investigation into a training ground incident that occurred today. Glenn Whelan put a pig's head inside Kenwyne Jones' locker. When Jones returned and found the pig's head, he went absolutely mental - and smashed up Whelan's car. There's also supposedly been a big brawl at the training ground involving several squad members, due to this incident.
Whelan sounds like the Stoke equivelant of Noel Hunt, basically thinks he has great banter but in reality is a complete nonce.
