    Pulled far too hard and only finished 4th. Disappointing result.

    Quite disappointed with Sound Of Guns there. It was a weird race though. She pulled too hard and didn't finish off her race at all well. Ed Walker tweeted that she had far from an ideal preparation and she's better than that.

    Quite a speculative little each wayer in the form of Burlesdon in the 4.15 at Newbury. Ran in Telescopes maiden. His other form is okay if unspectacular and he's had the pipe opener a month or so ago so will have a fitness edge on some in this field . 16/1 seems fair in what is a potentially good handicap so i'm only on for a tenner each way.

    Ryan Moore riding out of his skin at the moment...his agent isn't doing a bad job either.

    Cant wait to see Harris Tweed have his 1st run of the season- Not the force he was but should beat the favorite!! I shall be putting him up later! One of my favourite flat horses in training!

    That was pretty impressive. Came there travelling unbelievably well and the victory would have been more emphatic had something lasted out in front a bit longer. Makes up for a couple of disappointments so far today.

    Good call on Esteeming ROTO, nice price as well.

    Great performance on the lucky15 Blueracingfan, 3 out of 4 not easy to do, next time the big four hopefully.

    <cheers>

    20:15 Aintree - Tullyraine

    (Wasn't going to bother with a bet today, but this one caught my eye. Extraordinarily stoutly-bred on both sire and dam sides, so this marathon hurdle will not bother him. Twice a winner at Bangor over similar distances, but is still very lightly raced. With all that stamina in his breeding he is still no slouch, having posted a very good speed figure LTO. Decent chance in a very open race).
