A mate of mine who is a Brighton fan says the club are looking into a breach of contract. Something about him saying that he couldn't commit to his future at Brighton next season.

Thanks w_y,i've been on the recovery road for some time ,one of the downsides is the docs advise you to stay off computers,so I'm not one to argue with the professionals, still i'm well enough to go on Monday week, hope its a good game, should be,even without Murray sadly whose career could be in the balance after the injury he suffered,he went under the knife today, out for 6-9 months.

Thats true as his mouth ran away with him in his post match rant on Monday.
The other part was that apparently before half time someone went into the Palace changing room and crapped on the floor...,yep really !.

Hows the tickets going so far for Wembley,we've done at last count (well last time I looked )just under 25,000 with the next wave due tomorrow which will likely sell out.

Major rants on the Palace boards about the amount given to Club Wembley and the prawn sandwich brigade, disgusting IMO.

Sold 17,000 so far - but sales are limited to ST holders only and only 2 per ST until tomorrow. Then members with a buying history this season then any member. Not much you can do about Club Wembley, they get tickets for every event and they paid for them up front.

Crystal Palace sales seem well organised in comparison to ours. Not only did it take me 4 hours to get tickets yesterday, i also ended up having to get my group of twelve sitting in 6 pairs. Today the club have released more Cat 3 tickets (where i wanted to sit) and i can't change my tickets and get my group sitting together, which put simply, means people who haven't, like me been to almost every match, home and away, will end up getting better seats than me. I'm very very upset about it. And yeah, i shouldn't moan, coz i'll be there, but i can't even sit with the person i've been to all the games with this season, it totally sucks. I've spoken to ticketmaster who won't do anything, and i'm speaking to the club in the morning. I've heard from others that when they spoke to the club about the same situation today they got short shrift. The club could barely apologise. Really poor show.

    Morning Dave...

erm Happy and Eastbourne go together? It was freezing cold, p@ssing with rain and gale force winds... and my hotel was full of coach parties.... I looked around at breakfast and I was the youngest there..

For my evening meal I walked around all the interesting and varied restaurants.... and finally choose a Spanish one ... thinking well a Spanish restaurant just has to authentic surely... and looking forward to conversations about the costa blanca etc..... well I went in and said the waiter.... "Oh and which part of Spain are you from then?" ..... and, I tell no lie.... he said " I am not from Spain I am from Kosovo..." ... and then the food: erm.... well.. enough said :(
I did take a look at Beachy Head.....

    Hi Hil

Great to hear from you again <ok>..... I did message you a few times a year or so back.... I was in contact for SLB for a while and then he went quiet and has not been on here since I am afraid.... I know he had a new job and family stuff etc. I even tried to contact off the boards but cant find ant contact info for him ( we did share quite a bit about our families, careers etc. privately so I at least had a name and an town....but to no avail)

Sorry you have not been so good yourself....

You should have stayed in one of the more 'up market' hotels in Eastbourne <laugh>
We used to do 2 weeks on the bandstand every year.
We would stay in a place called the Cavalier. It was just down the side street by the side of the big hotel opposite the bandstand (The Grand?).
Many happy memories of walking into clubs in the evening and your feet sticking to the floor <laugh>
    Those were the days <dreams>

Morning all from an overcast West West London - first time I have been into the office on a Friday in months! Decided to switch jobs at work - I usually do every couple of years so I get a new challenge(and I do not get noticed!).

Good to see Hil on here last night and it got me thinking about names for the 606 days - I cannot remember for the life of me the posting name of that Steptoe who tried to wind us up and failed everytime. He came from somewhere like Sudbury and for some reason got the nickname of Dolly The Sheep....my memory is just not what it is!

Thanks in advance for the frothy AK

My card was stopped also. I made the payment for april too early so the card account did not see it and when they did said it was for march.

Not my house. I have a building in my garden which is leaking on the roof.
