Evening all - just seen an excellent programme on BBC 2. It was a service from RAF Scampton, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dambusters raid leaving Lincolnshire. There are just 3 left still alive who left that night 70 years ago and 2 were at the service - one had come over from NZ "to be close" he said. In a world of heroes and legends on every street these young men, and they were very young men, should be remembered for eternity.

Thanks w_y,I've not been too well,had a stroke around a year ago after being unwell for sometime,ironically not long after 606 vanished,miss the old place. I've got SLB's email somewhere so I'll keep on searching,I know he'll be around somewhere.
How quickly things change in the world of football - just a few days ago Brighton were within a shout of the play-off final and tonight Gus Poyet has been suspended. Rumour has it that he has been speaking to Everton without permission.
I think you'll find thats only half the story,a certain incident on Monday night at half time in our match may have something to do with that. The wheels on the Gus Bus have well and truly fallen off,what a shame...
