I've been thinking of this one for a little while. With the recent marathon post from Peruvian, and the very sad news from today, I was wondering if we should have a dedicated Not606 charity each season that we contribute to? We could vote for one at the start of the season? Not sure how it would work - we could 'buy in' to the prediction competition on a completely voluntary basis perhaps? Or any gentlemen's wagers on the board could go towards chosen charity? Just an idea, so feel free to ignore if you wish. If not, we could thrash out the idea a little until it is a little more concrete.

Maybe Brix Junior might like to nominate a charity that we can make contributions to?

I think that's a very good idea actually. Dunno how it would work but I like it.

Maybe a good charity to start could be the QPR tiger cubs (Just a suggestion)

    Count me in too.

Btw, should us all here on the board chip in for flowers or a wreath or something for the funeral? If so any ideas how to organise it?

Flowers seem like a very fine idea. Difficult to arrange though; perhaps Rollercoaster R might be of help as he appears to have known Brix? Otherwise, a mod?

To speed things along I'd suggest electronic bank transfer to a poster we all trust who is welcome to spend the lot on whatever Interflora or whoever may have on offer. For privacy reasons I'd suggest the relative account and sort code details are PM'd rather than posted. Count me in for £10 for starters as soon as I know where to send it.

Any alternative ideas welcome. I'm moving in the next 10 days so am somewhat snowed under but please let us know asap.

Imaz, that's the best idea. Who's the best poster? Roller?

I realise I'm an outsider, but please, if you are looking for donations, let me know. I for one would be more than happy to make a donation in his name.

    From a sad Swansea fan.

Good shout Chico. At a time like this there are no outsiders so count yourself in.
