Targets for next season

    I was just thinking, away from all the speculation, about next season. I think our aim should be to maintain a mid table finish and aim to make a real shot at the Carling Cup. I think this is both our best chance of silverwear and of Europe. I think whatever happens this summer our squad can only be stronger, whether thats to the standard we all want im not sure, but as a squad we will have greater depth. Would you be happy with that as a season? I think its too early to be thinking top ten especially as this season has been somewhat of a freak results wise and I expect to see a gap open between the top 6 and rest of the league next year.

    You beat me to it!!! Was just about to post that haha.

    As for aims next season: general improvement, more consistency against the low/mid-table teams, signs that the team spirit is still there and another battering of the unwashed would do me nicely :) Think we could be aiming as high as 8th but I reckon the mid-table will be tight again so who we sign this transfer window (and who we keep!!!) is very important.
