    How can you not be a fan? Compared to the breed of footballer we have today, Beckham is a class act. He may have the intelligence of a stuffed olive, but the man is just brilliant, and indeed so is the footballer.

    Just had my first Economics exam. Described economic effects perfectly for the first part of the question, then had to advise policymakers on what to do in order to bring about the effects they desired and advised them to introduce the completely wrong policies. Feel pretty sick as it means if I am lucky I can only get about 50% for that question. Judging by how the rest of the exam went, I will have done well to get a 2:2. We all know how useless they are. :emoticon-0106-cryin

    The full story is that Farage got rejected by two taxis. He was then thrown out of the next taxi he got into.

    He was then locked in a pub as furious anti-UKIP protesters gathered outside.

    They had to call the police and he was bundled into a police van and driven away as the crowd chanted "scum! scum! scum!" at him.
