Swansea have Vorm, Stoke have Begovic and Butland, Norwich have Ruddy, Newcastle have Krul, Southampton maybe, Fulham have Schwarzer.
I agree, but I really don't see many teams needing a keeper, in the premier league anyway. Maybe Arsenal, I can see Begovic going there.
Not speechless (see previous comment!) I know Leicester fans love him but Kasper wouldn't be my first choice and would come some way down the pecking order - he's undoubtedly a good/very good keeper but there are better (and potentially cheaper) options out there. As for the Championship team of the year, my own choice of goalie would definitely have been Marshall at Cardiff - he's made some great saves throughout and has been very consistent.
Arsenal reported to be after Slumberlands Simon Mignolet this summer. Hopefully the Turner story will come full circle this summer. Time for Michael Turner to come hiome after his 5 year tour away.
Mignolet is a very good keeper, the only reason I see Begovic going, is because of Stoke buying Butland.
That's an easy one to answer and it's where you are constantly deluded. The point is once you are playing in the Premiership you are well and truly in the shop window. Doesn't matter one iota whether we are relegated or not if Schmeichel plays well he will have bigger clubs showing interest in him. If he stays in the Championship he's just another Championship player who may or may not be good enough for the Prem. You really need to see passed your 'BigClub' fantasy it completely cloud your perception of reality.
And called up for the England squad. Would love us to get him, but I can see him going to some where like Liverpool (Reina has been heavily linked with Barca)
AKCJ, what makes you think we'll come straight back down? Serious question. We have a Manager who has done it before, we've got owners, although foreign, who has lived in 'Ull for over 40 years, made their fortune here and knows what the Club means to the fans.
Can't see three worse sides than yourselves. I bet you're quite gutted someone like Villa or Newcastle didn't go down leaving Wigan.
Yet another stupid comment. You don't know who will be in our starting eleven come the first game, so how can you possibly "see" three worse sides than us?
He has a point. I bet if you asked 10,000 football fans 95% would say we'd go down. Theyd also say the same about Cardiff and whoever wins the play off. But that's what makes football great, there is always surprises. For me it'll be 1 of the promoted teams, Norwich and Swansea. They've had their honeymoon...
