If we draw 0-0 with Everton and Arsenal win 2-1 we will have to play a playoff to decide who gets 3rd as Head-to-Head will not count according to the Premier League. For me that's absolute corruption, PL just want to generate more money for no good reason. If the aforementioned happens Chelsea will have deserved 3rd on merit.

I think you're in for a tough game as are Spurs but I can't see you losing to Newcastle or even drawing. Newcastle are a woeful side with total imbalance. The only way you won't win is if you lose a man to a red card like you have in previous 2 seasons. Either way I won't exactly be crestfallen if we finish 4th, 3rd is just a bonus. It's Benitez that needs 3rd so I suspect we'll go for it.

Outsider intruding on this London love fest! I am sure Arsene would welcome a play-off like a hole in the head. Those comments made by him were solely tongue-in-cheek to make the FA hierarchy look even more foolish than they already are. In reality I think he would prefer head to head encounters to be taken into consideration to decide third spot. Besides which if I was Head of the West Midlands Police I would refuse to allow the match to go ahead given the time constraints and availability of officers at such short notice just to force the FA to make a decision for once rather than passing the buck!
