If we can afford him I think Wesley Sneijder is the midfielder that we need to look at!!! from Galatasaray. then build around him. Jushought a Tt
Reports in Lancashire have both Jordan Rhodes and Charlies Austin on the way to Hull City as Steve Bruce splashes some cash. Kasper Schmeichel is also being hawked about as our new GK (ssn), the sun and mirror red tops. Hhhmmm.
Reports in Lancashire actually say that Blackburn want £10m for Rhodes... http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.u...striker_Jordan_Rhodes__worth_at_least___10m_/
Wrong again. Plus clubs dont always get what players are worth. (ie.Turner in 2009) It actually says that "Rhodes should command" and that is the opinion of Ewood stalwart Tony Parkes. IF big IF we agree to take his wages then the fee wont be anywhere near £10m. Blackburn have to vastly reduce there wage bill under the tough NEW FL FFP rules that kick in from august 2013. Its a buyers market now. But as always TWT, it always does.
Tickles, Blackburn have 3 years to get promoted before there's any effect to those rules, they're also allowed to make an £8m loss this season, I'm not saying its the right thing to do but I can't see them rushing to get rid of half their squad. Specially with the ****ing idiots in charge there, I bet they think its a given they'll get promoted and ignore the rules completely, wouldn't surprise me if they chucked another 10/20 million at it again this summer.
WELL, it has been reported that the FFP rules are being challenged in a european court so they may get thrown out in time, who knows ?. But Blackburn simply dont have anywhere near the levels of income to meet there current wage bill and i dont expect the Venkys to bank roll them to the same levels. The whole FFP thing is a mess i agree. Here for your delight and reading are the 2 set ups that the PL and FL are working to as things stand. Those rules are quite good, I didn't know the penalty fines would be distributed through the league, I can see a few relegated clubs either intentionally or unintentionally bankrolling promotion and helping strengthen the division. Clubs with wealthy owners still get a £3m head start, but in the grand scheme of things isn't a great deal unless they're silly rich and don't mind the gamble and paying the fines. People will still find a way around it though, wealthy backers could buy non football related assets for stupid prices off the club and just pay 17.5% vat rather than the 100% fine if they wanted to bankroll a 10m+ promotion campaign I guess. For example the club could buy something like a small business or even a house or allotment whatever then the owners could buy that off the club for say 20m. Unless there's rules that dictate where the income related to the FFP scheme can come from, which I haven't seen at all. There's also the sponsorship issue but I've read in reports a while back that the authorities are trying to find a way to stop excessive owner investment via sponsoring their own club. Then there's Watford, who with their multi club ownership could bankroll a promotion push via Granada or Udinese. Buy the players through either club to be subsequently loaned or free transferred to Watford. They could also use the other clubs to buy players from Watford to even their books if they go a bit over.
From usual source, rhodes himself asking agnew if were interested in him A brazilian from spartak moscow and tom ince, on hol at the min in egypt so jus popped on to check inboxs And mate had messages me
Are you sure that Brazilian from Spartak Moscow, isn't actually an Ecuadorian from Lokomotiv Moscow? (only I've seen someone else claiming we're in for Felipe Caicedo) If not, then there's... Rafael Carioca(23) - Defensive Midfield - Out of contract this summer according to wiki(played 31 games this season, I'm surprised he hasn't got a new deal). Ari(27) - Striker - No idea about contract, played 32 games this season, scored 5. Rômulo(22) - Defensive Midfielder - Only played five games last season, but scored twice, one of them against Barca in the Champions League.
there are only 3 Romulu http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rômulo_Borges_Monteiro cost them 8million euros so doubt it Ari http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ariclenes_da_Silva_Ferreira 3 million euros... Rafael carioca http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rafael_Carioca 4 million euros
