ok no.1: bruce rates stockdale, stockdale is currently no 2 and neither stockdale or the keepers above would come as a no 2. no 2: mannone if he leaves will go abroad to a italian team, and has never been on bruces rader before. bruce has never seen him play for us and i belive has no intention of going for him. not to mention he will have better offers if he does move no 3: kasper if he moves will move to a mid table prem team, that said i can't think of a mid table prem team in need of a new keeper? thus i think he with stay at the foxes. now thats not to say he would not move to us if he could i belive he would. however again i dont see bruce going for him. he will go for 5mill why should they seel any cheaper there not short of money and he will not force a transfer. thus we wont get him. no 4:
You probably couldn't afford to pay it if you lost anyway. You're making massive assumptions. Mannone has been available for about 2 years now, yet no Italian clubs have tried to sign him, so why would they now? He has played here before and he is available. Schmeichel isn't worth anywhere near £5m with just a year left on his contract. Yes, maybe there are no mid table prem teams needing a keeper, but why does that mean he will stay at Lesstar instead of us. The fact is, you talk utter bollocks. I don't see why we would sell him for any less than £4m. We don't need the money, and I can't think of many other 'keepers out there who we could get for £4m or less. He may go for that cheap if he hands in a transfer request, but to be honest, I really can't see that happening. Also, I don't believe the Sun Mind you, a broken clock is right twice a day and this is football, so who knows...
