I quoted Jon, but changed jobsworth to acworth, which is his surname. Oh, how I laughed while I was doing it.
Again, I was just quoting Jon's splendid grasp of the English language. Hasn't really anything to do with my hilarious play on words, but thought I would include it anyway, I am kind of wacky that way.
It is my pleasure and thank you for not laughing at my wonderful play on words, you miserable bastard!
You used be such a nice young chap. Whatever happened to you? Do you want to talk about it? We like to help out others as much as possible around here. It's what we do. GC provided a supportive and nurturing environment to help ER through his divorce. Look how well he's doing now.
Last time i took my boy to hospital to have his plaster off after breaking his arm , we were there about 15 minutes early but the hospital didn`t see us for over an hour. They don`t keep to their own appointment times so 10 minutes should not make too much difference.
I bet if the OP had to pay for the appointment they would not have turned up late. People take the NHS and the availability of free healthcare for granted over here. It is very short sighted to abuse this hospital worker, who is already probably chasing their tail trying to fit everybody else's appointments in. Learn your lesson and turn up on time. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone...
