I have no feelings either way with regards Watford.

But I hate Ian Holloway and the whole Circus that surrounds him. He'll get his own little bit on MOTD to show what an absolute Wheeze he is. He says the funniest things, and he'll say them in a Bristol accent. Oh won't it be funny?

    No. It won't. He's a twat.

On that basis, Come on you 'Orns

I think Watford will be fine. They can sign players more easily than any other club can because they own the selling and buying clubs so there's no room for any complications or even negotiation. But that's what I think is so wrong about it.

It's not the loans that's the issue. It's the fact they own three clubs and when Watford need a player they get one. When anyone else needs a player there's a whole complicated process to go through and it costs a lot of money.

We spent money on certain players, but other clubs got a fair deal out of that. We put that money into the market by paying other clubs for their players. Watford are basically paying nothing for great players that no one else can have. It's completely unfair and as hullborn says, it should definitely be against the rules.

But I still hope they win because they aren't a set of twats like Palace.

Spot on but that won't stop the ill informed and ranters. Noone seems bothered about our arrangements with Man U due to our inside connection. I really hope Watford go up, can't stand anything at all about Palace from the Manager downwards.

    um cant we have NEITHER?
Although Watford fans that have spoken on this forum have actually sounded human, they have wished us luck unlike Eagles fans that were ****s and were in shock that we got promoted.

    so Watfud for me.
    Eagles fans = ****s

Holloway is a total prat who was out of his depth in the Premier League with Blackpool. He talks crap and would be a total embarrassment if he is successful this time. His team cheats, diving being their major tactic. Fancy hearing his constant dribble day in and day out.
Zola is okay. His team finished third and their fans seem quite reasonable.
Please, please no Crystal Palace in the Premier League.....come on Watford

I dislike his Italian accent and the way he walks around on the technical area. Little things that make me hate him. Having said that, Holloway is an absolute **** as well.

Inside connection? We have had good connections with man-u, but every player we went in for had the option of either saying no to us, or signing for any other club who matched our offer (or even offered less). We thought it was nailed on for us to sign FC from man-u on more than one occasion, didnt we have a £7m bid accepted for FC and he ended up going to Sunderland for less? Same for Chester, when his loan finished at Carlisle United they were a number of clubs interested in signing him. Same goes for Brady.

The difference with Watford is when they move a player from one club to another, there is no room for negotiations from other clubs. THAT is what is completely unfair. It would be like man-u only loaning/selling players to us and no other championship club.

Bit like having to choose between a kick in the bollocks or a smack in the face......Don't like them, but Watford for me, got a soft spot for Zola, whilst their loan deals are dodgy, it's within the rules so not their fault for exploiting it, their fans appear to be less twattish than Palace fans, on here at least. Palace.....well, Holloway is a propper nobber, romanticised by the media cos he's a mentalist and talks shyte, has his team diving all over the shop, 16 penalties is it this year? And the fans are proper bellends.

Watford without a doubt. They play much better football and deserve to go up with Cardiff and Hull City. Palace got lucky that Brighton fired blanks in both games.

But the most important thing is surely our safety next year, and if Watford can continue to abuse the rules they will put up a much stronger opposition than Palace in the league table.

They are not abusing any rules. Ipswich loaned in the same way was Watford did. We had a lot of loans (2 international ones with our Egyptian connection). Every club will try and get an advantage by using whatever means that they can.

I anticipate that Watford will buy a lot of their loanees this summer anyway.

Like others I despise Palace (not as much as Stoke obviously). I have always liked Zola, and the Watford fans on here have been decent so I hope its them that get promotion

That would make no commercial sense whatsoever on the part of the owners of both clubs. If they give Watford players for free they would be reducing the assets of one of their clubs. They would need replacing so would need to buy them in.

I doubt their business model is bankrupting one club for the sake of another
