Just to throw my hat into the ring for the York meeting... 1.45 - Bridle Belle, 9/1 2.15 - York Glory, 5/1 2.45 - Liber Nauticus, 4/5 3.15 - Maarek, 4/1 3.50 - Novirak, 9/1 4.25 - Peniaphobia, 4/1 5.00 - Line of Reason, 8/1 No bets as im ****e at picking winners on the flat - as opposed to the jumps...<whislte>, so good luck if you do play today...
Just listening to the radio and the football manager of Waterloo Dock is to retire after 50 years in management... I wonder if the club or him has owt to do with Micky Quinns runner of the same name Waterloo Dock...?
First Mohican in the opener, then Compton in the second. Young Willie Tristan Davies is an interesting booking. Can't oppose Ryan Moore in the Musidora and then a tricky sprint at 3.15 Can't decide between Maarek and Society Rock
Very interested to see how Prompter goes in the 1.45 ................... 16/1 now but not betting on the race as too many imponderables
I have to admit i thought traffic problems would catch First Mohican out there, but he showed a good turn of foot to leave them there... Easy as in the end... Well done if you backed him...
Nice nap RV..have a great day at York mate. God knows how Queally keeps that job at Cecils...nearly made a balls of that...again.
I'm pleased for those of you that stuck by FIRST MOHICAN. I was very disappointed after his last run last year, as I know how highly the yard think of him.
Blimey, that was a popular winner on the forum...well done all who were on. What a thought to see him going hurdling with Alan King. Very sporting of the exuberant Mr Ponsonby.
Superb start, a definite example of the group horse in a handicap. Thanks again Princess for ensuring we have all adopted this horse from last year, it keeps paying out. Not sure about the owners comments about sending him hurdling, that just sounds absurd to me.
